Izanagi watches, oops? " Apology accepted." anything less would probably make Nikiri mad, even if he hadn't really forgiven the other yet.

The bell chimes as Arakan walks into the cafe, sighing softly and making his way to an empty table away from anyone else. He runs a hand through his hair, mussing it as he look at his phone.

Izanagi's eyes widen, " oh..."

Mina sees Arakan come in and, not wanting to try to tell nikiri that he has to let the others go, she decides to handle the demon herself. She happily walks over and, toning down her bubbly nature for arakans sake, smiles at him, "Hello there and thank you for coming to the Purrrrgatory Cafe~! Is there anything I can get for you?"

Nikiri sees Arakan and sighs, knowing his demand for izanagi's attention was good until this guy showed up so as far as he was concerned he deal was done. He lets go of Izanagi, "Best not to get you in trouble with that piece of work."

Izanagi nods and gets up, " best not to irritate him."

Arakan looks at Mina, " coldbrew coffee with ginger. no sugar, no whipped cream, no milk." His eyes narrow as he sees Takana beyond Mina, " you have a new employee. i've never seen him in the district before." he beckons Takana to come over.

Mina writes it down and nods, "right away!" As she turns to and leaves to make the order she passes takana and whispers, "go to him immediately if you know whats good for you."

Takana groans and walks over, "yes? Can i help you?"

Nikiri hears the montone, no shits given tone in takana's voice and he sips his drink, now more curious than anything

Arakan looks at him closely, " you're new to the district." it wasn't a question. His eyes narrow as he looks at the collar, his hand darting out as he hooks his finger on it and uses it to pull him closer, then lifts the collar to expose the chafed skin. He looks past Takana at Izanagi, " Izanagi, why is he wearing your old collar. It's chafing." he lets go.

Izanagi swallows hard, " his broke, and he couldn't afford a new one right away and that's all i had to loan him."

Arakan sighs and fixes his eyes back on Takana, " your ID number." he lifts his phone and waits for the number so he can get a new one ordered.

Takana's eyes widen and he looks at izanagi. ID number?! What?! "I- hold up- who the hell are you?"

Nikiri damn near chokes on his drink and quickly looks over, enjoying this new source of entertainment

Arakan's eyes narrow, " your ID number. that was not a request."

Izanagi scurries over, " Takana, i know you're new here but this is Arakann Yamamoto, of the ruling family in this district remember?" please let Takana not say anything stupid or insulting!

Takana looks between arakan and izanagi, "OOH! this is arakan? The guy you wouldnt shut up about?"

Izanagi turns bright red, " Takana-!"

Arakan stands up and grabs Takana's collar again, " i tire of this. Your ID number, do you have one, or not."

Takana yelps before trying to tug away, "dont touch me!"

Arakans eyes narrow, and an unnatural chill starts to emanate from the hand that's holding onto Takana's collar.

Izanagi yelps, " He doesn't have one! He's new and doesn't know what he's doing, and Nikiri was giving him a hard time!"

Arakan pauses, eyes sliding over to where Nikiri is, " No ID, that's a problem. I can understand him being in a sour mood after being in that one's company." he looks carefully at Takana, how was it that any demon couldn;t sense when a demon was stronger and when to give in and be respectful? He lets go of the collar, letting Takana fall backwards, " get changed, this is a problem that needs to be remedied immediately."

Takana yelps and stumbles a bit before glaring at arakan, "what do you mean get changed?? I'm at my job dude."

Nikiri snorts, "kukuku I've never met someone who absolutely didnt care about your status before Ara-chan. Even humans know about you."

Arakan levels an annoyed look at Nikiri, " call me that again and we're going to have to clean the blood off the walls." he looks back at Takana, " yes, and you're being excused for the day. go get changed."

The manager who has been letting them settle this comes out to talk with Takana, " i'll pay you for the full shift, please go get changed."

Takana looks at the manager before sighing and going to get changed, coming out a few minutes later in his normal clothes, "...."

Nikiri snickers, "awww but this place looks so good without the blood!"

Arakan ignores Nikiri and looks at the manager, " his employment application please." she quickly makes a copy and gives it to him, and he looks at Takana, " follow me." he heads out of the cafe, pulling out his phone and dialing, putting it to his ear, " I need a demon profile created and a new ID made. Yes. We're on our way presently, i have a form with most of his basic information." he hands up and dials a different number, " I need a collar rush ordered. E rank, he's small but we'll be there in about an hour for measurements. pad the inside, he's been wearing one that's cut up his neck. of course."

he hangs up again and looks at Takana, " im not going to ask why you're not telling me your ID, but i strongly encourage you to tell me what the situation is. Most of the time demons in your situation are running from another district, but in that case you'd have a clue how to behave around higher ranked demons. My guess is you were kept illegally in the human district, but obviously i could be wrong. regardless it's my job to make sure you've got what you need so you're not caught in whatever trouble you've got following you."
