Topic: To Cross That Line (Namari x Missylooni)

Arakan nods to acknowledge Mina, and takes his drink, sipping at it.

The manager waves Takana into the back, " you alright? i know he wouldn;t hurt you but how are you feeling? you look pale."

Takana hesitantly rubs his arm and sighs, "Im... fine. Just... freaked me out a bit. That's all..."

[Namari]

She chuckles, " he can be rather intimidating, but he's good to us. you'll get used to his attitude. now, did you want to keep working? we can send you home early if you'd prefer."

[MissyLooni]

Takana sighs, "Not much i'd be able to do at the apartment so if it's alright i'd like to continue with my shift. It'll help me take my mind off of things and then you wont need to necessarily waste a whole days pay on me."

[Namari]

The manager chuckles, " don;t worry, i have a feeling Arakan will probably be compensating me for that anyway. not to mention the tip Nikiri gave me was substantial. those boys keep me afloat. anyway if you're staying go get changed."

[MissyLooni]

Takana nods, "Of course. Thank you." he heads to the back and changes again.

Mina once again shadows him like in the morning to make sure he does the work but he still has help if need be.

Nikiri grins as he watches Takana for a bit before humming and going back to his coffee, "Interesting." He empties his cup and waves over Izanagi, using the empty cup as an excuse to continue to flirt

Izanagi is more than happy to avail himself to Nikiri, sauntering over.

Arakan looks at his phone, checking various things and responding to e-mails as he enjoys his drink.

Mina nods approvingly with how well Takana is doing, even when they have a spare moment to themselves he asks her about any work that needs to be done that doesnt involve guests like cleaning or restocking in order to prep for the next wave or to make the next day easier for opening.

Takana had a lot on his mind after that whole ordeal with arakan so to avoid thinking about it he worked as hard as he could, acting more like an actual maid and less like a 'sexy' maid

Arakan stays for a few hours, keeping an eye on the place and making sure Takana is settling in well. He tips large at the end and leaves a card with his number so that Takana can contact him if he needs something.

Izanagi flirts and goofs off with Nikiri as often as possible while still getting his job done, and is in a considerably better mood when they head home, " ah maaaaan, i love when Nikiri visits but i get scolded soooo much. "  he glances at Takana, " soooo. how was your trip with the most eligible bachelor in the demon district?"

Takana blushes and raises an eyebrow at izanagi, "what foes him being an eligible bachelor have anything to do with my time with him?"

[Namari]

Izanagi pouts, " seriously? you had him carting you around tending to the things you need and you didn't even make a single move on him? uuuugh. and he's way too nice to do something like that to you. professionalism or some shit."

Takana snorts and shakes his head,  "i was already a bother to him,  why would i make him even more upset? Even after he was nice enough to get me a working collar. And what the fuck was up with that chair with the straps?! "

Izanagi sighs, " might not have made him upset, who knows~ though you were kind of an ass to him. im surprised he didn't get more angry." he tilts his head, " isn't it obvious? you said it yourself earlier, demons are terrifying and murderous, so it protects the human who has to take the collars off and then be vulnerable." his voice turns bitter as he says this, and somewhat sarcastic.

Takana huffs, "i was in a sour mood thanks to that other weird guy that had been all over you. And then he shows up and just gives me orders like some kind of animal? Thats not okay!" He pouts for a bit, frowning, "i still dont understand why he would just help me. People only help each other out when it can benefit them later..." he rubs his arm and sighs, feeling pretty shitty

Izanagi snorts, " you're still thinking like a human. Nikiri is a unique case, he's not really considered a strong enough demon to be a C class, but his family has gained reknown since they're capable of learning a language after hearing it once, which makes them super useful. also the human government doesn;t like that. he's... well he's flirty and i love the attention if im honest. though i know i haven;t got a prayer of actually having a relationship. regardless, i like it. Arakan is allowed to give orders, he's second only to his father who's an A class, which there's only a few of. He's a b rank, but that's only because he's still young. He'll some day run this district, and it's his place to ensure everything runs smoothly and we stay safe from the humans."
