Topic: To Cross That Line (Namari x Missylooni)

Takana looks at izanagi, "you're only helping me because you need the rent money though. Sure you got me a job but that's so i can continue giving you rent as well. Thats just what i grew up with." Hes quiet for a minute before sighing,  "if he asked instead of ordered i wouldnt get so angry about it..."

[Namari]

Izanagi shrugs, " i mean... mostly. i could have managed, if i really didn;t wanna get stuck with you. plus, you're human, and you were sketchy as fuck. can you really blame me for hesitating?" He sighs, " takes longer to ask nicely, and it doesn;t earn as much respect. he needs to present himself as a strong authority figure that's obeyed without question or the humans would get even twitchier."

"No, i dont blame you for hesitating. Thats only natural. And it doesnt take longer to add a please. I can understand stronger and more aggressive demons but for the ones who are weaker and obviously wont put up much of a fight a simple please would be nice." He places his hands behind his head and sighs.

Izanagi shrugs, " you may not understand it but that's how it is. he's pretty nice all things considered, but he doesn't take crap and he expects things to get done when he says to get them done. i don't think i've ever heard him give an order that wasn't reasonable, and for good reasons." he unlocks their apartment and goes in, heating some water and making an instant cup of noodles.

he follows behind Izanagi and shuts the door once he's inside, "Yeah I guess you're right about that. I dont understand. It baffles me that someone gets to treat you like shit just because they could beat the crap out of you..." he thinks about it before scratching the back of his head, "Its kinda like a weird highschool bully mentality to me." he follows izanagi and stops when he sees the demon 'making' the cup ramen and he grimaces, "Uh. where does one go for groceries around here? And what do you have for cooking utensils?" he looks around the apartment and sighs, "Not to mention its really dusty in here. A simple broom would help a lot."

Izanagi shrugs, " only if that bully would put his life on the life to keep you safe as well." he hums, " there's some grocery stores near the border, where we got your clothes and stuff. i don;t have a ton, this place is kinda crap and im hoping to move soon. of course that means i need to stop impulse spending my paychecks... but having you here will cut down on my rent so more money i can try to save anyway?"

Takana nods, "Well..... I think tomorrow after work we should go to a grocery store and get some groceries. I love cooking so i would prefer to do that.... rather than uh.... eating styrofoam ramen."

[Namari]

Izanagi snorts, " okay picky pants. i'll chip in for the grub if you cook it." he slurps his noodles happily before tossing the cup.

Takana shrugs and chuckles, "I was a college student so i spent most of my time indoors studying instead of eating out so i learned how to cook. Do you have any dietary restrictions I should know about? Or any preferences on what type of food you eat?"

Izanagi blinks and grins, " well i like sweet things, other than that im not really picky. no dietary restrictions for me, some demons do, but im not one of those more specific variants."

[MissyLooni]

Takana chuckles, "Well i figured you wouldnt be picky considering your dinner right now. just wanted to make sure you didnt have any allergies."

[Namari]

" nope. can;t say im a huge vegetable fan, but i'll eat almost anything." Izanagi stretches and heads into his room, " mmmm i gotta call one of my hookups soon, it's been too long."

Takana makes a mental note of izanagi's preference and goes to his room and grabs a pair of pajama pants changing into them. He was smart enough to grab a bite at the cafe and the food was quite good! Sweet but it is a cafe so thats to be expected. It would do, and it would be better than cup ramen.

Izanagi looks at his cheap phone and peeks his head around the doorway, " you're gonna go shopping right? tomorrow morning maybe? or can i convince you to make yourself scarce anyway, unless you don;t mind hearing me get down and dirty." he grins.

Takana rolls his eyes, knowing that since he wasnt looking at izanagi then the demon wouldnt know of his expression, "i'll make myself scarce. I kinda need you to come with me grocery shopping. Who knows, maybe i'll look for the guard who let me in and i can sneak back out to see if my step mom threw any of my shit out yet. Id kinda would like to grab my notebooks if they still exists."
