Takana's eyes slowly open and he rubs his eyes, "mmmm~" he yawns and stretches before blinking, his eyes landing on arakan. He blinks and turns bright red before quickly stumbling out of bed and holding out the jacket, "I- I wasnt using the jacket!! I swear! I just didnt trust nagi thats all!"

Arakan chuckles softly and gently takes it before putting it over the others shoulders, " i don't care. i keep it with me half the time for others to use anyway. i don't get cold."

[MissyLooni]

Takana clears his throat and nods, "I- I see. well. regardless. I uh. Im going to make breakfast. as usual. in the mornings. you uh. you are welcome to join us since you're here. its rude to eat in front of others if they arent eating so I would honestly feel better if you joined us. it would keep my mother from haunting me for being rude."

Arakan nods, " fair enough. I won;t be here too long, just until Kaiten comes to take over for the day."

Takana blinks and looks up at arakan, "kait...en?"

Arakan nods, " yes, the C ranked demon i pulled rank on to get him to guard you. He's a serpent Chimera, and he's got venom. some of his family make it to B rank, and i expect he will eventually so he's one of the better choices, as he won't be instantly beaten by a b rank should we be so unfortunate to have to deal with one. He's young though."

Takana's ears twitch briefly and he frowns, "Ah... and thats because nikiri's hurt. um... when nikiri is better can he go back to watching us?"

[Namari]

Arakan shakes his head, " no. Nikiri is a C rank that has the strength more of a D rank, he could barely keep a C rank at bay, he'd be crushed by a B rank. putting him in charge of you two was a mistake and foolish."

[MissyLooni]

Takana's ears lower and he looks down, "o-oh...." he sighs, feeling like he just lost someone that he felt was safe. he walks slowly to the kitchen, giving another sigh as he starts cooking

Arakan sighs, " Nikiri can stay with you guys if he chooses, but you need a higher rank demon to be able to actually fight if need be."

Takana snorts, "hopefully nikiri would stay by my side just to make sure this Kaiten doesnt kill me just like he kept you from killing me."

Arakan raises an eyebrow, " i would ask that you try to not antagonize the person trying to protect you?"

Takana sighs, "i mean- ugh obviously I wouldnt trrrry on purpose... kinda depends on how much of an ass he is. "

Arakan gives him a look, " i know this is tough for you but you really need to try and be respectful. He'll protect you with his life if you do, otherwise you'll just piss him off and then i'll have to come back and be your guard. i do need to sleep sometime."

Takana looks down, feeling defeated as he gives another sigh, "again, i said i would try. But i can't keep a promise like that when i know the possibility of it breaking is extremely high. It's why i enjoyed nikiri watching me. If i get mad he just talks to me like we're both adults and he knows i'm never going to be like you guys. "
