She hums softly, " i'll see what i can dig up." she heads out. a little while later she comes back with a tray of simple food, and a cup of medicinal smelling tea. " here you are. food and something to help with said aftermath. pain soothing and muscle relaxing. it'll work on any sore muscles you have as well."

While she had stepped out takana got himself dressed, his face still red. No amount of clothes on him will make him feel less exposed as he did in front of arakans mother.

He takes the tray from her and nods, "o-okay um thank you very much."
Why is she being so nice to him? Her son fucked him. A human for crying out loud.

She raises an eyebrow, " you seem confused. did you think i would be upset that you and Arakan had sex?"

"I- we-well...." His ears go back and he looks away, "I mean, you know what I am so.... yes? Or at the very least I thought I'd be getting a lecture or something. I don't know."

She snorts softly, " while i think it was a little foolhardy, you could have easily been seriously hurt by him, im not upset in the slightest. He took my caution in selecting sexual partners that would not be his mate too literally, and a young high ranking male like himself needs sexual release now and then. it's good for him to have finally gotten some of that tension loose. He will be able to handle his duties all the better for it. As for you... well you do have some unique benefits to have some bonds to our family. we shall see how this can benefit us."  she chuckles, " i was fully aware of his attachment to you, if i wished to prevent the two of you from having any such interactions, i would have acted. My species of demon is not ranked for our physical strength, but for our cunning. there's little i miss."

The words 'not be his mate's hits him and he frowns, "um... what do you mean by, partners that would not be his mate?"
She didn't think that takana was only interested in sex, did she?

She raises an eyebrow, " well, to be his mate, you would need to commit fully to him. to stand by his side for the best interests of the district, even if that means opposing your own race. And as he cannot leave, your place would also need to be here. it is not a commitment to be taken lightly. And as a human, he would face heavy disapproval once it is discovered, as it is highly doubtful it will stay secret forever. He will have to fight to keep his position, and to silence the opposition against such a thing. do you truly think you are capable of fulfilling all these requirements?"

Takana's ears dart back and he looks down. He's quiet for a while as he seriously thinks about the situation, "I do love him.... and I have already been trying my best to help the district any way that I can... but if he's going to constantly be in fights because of me i.. I don't want that either..." He looks up at her, his ears drooping a little, "I guess I just want what's best for him and the people living here so... I understand what you mean now..."
He has some serious thinking to do...

" well thankfully he's inherited both his father's strength and my cunning, I am not worried should he have to fight for his place. Also keep in mind he will require an heir. There's ways to attain that, but it is something you must also consider. This is not something to rush into, take time to think. A lifetime should not be decided on one passionate night. Regardless, eat and rest. I will check in later." She leaves the room

Takana watches her leave before slowly sitting down.
She reminded him a lot of his own mother...
He sighs softly and begins sipping the tea first, curious to see what it was going to do for him.
Bitter. Yet it worked with the other flavors somehow. Not bad honestly.
Takana finished eating quickly and was already dreading going back home.  Izanagi was definitely going to tease him about this...

After awhile she comes back in, noting the empty plate and cup, " how are you feeling? that tea ought to have soothed your aches. Is there anything you need?"

"It worked very well, thank you. And I don't think I need anything. I was actually thinking of heading home so I can charge up my phone. I haven't talked to my brother in a few days so I kind of want to see how he's doing."

[Namari]

She waves a hand, " i can arrange for a vehicle to take you home. we'll need to locate you an escort, as Kaiten is with Izanagi as normal. Indigo should suffice... regardless, Arakan will check on you as soon as he can im certain."

Takana nods, "I'm sure he will as well. I appreciate the ride home."

Sh pulls out a phone and makes a few calls before hanging up, " a vehicle and Indigo will be here shortly to escort you home. Do see that that girl of yours comes again soon, i like the changes i've been seeing."
