Nikiri is home and is gently tossing Elyza in the air, smiling every time she squeals in joy, "Look at you being an over achiever! you had no right!" he laughs softly

Elyza laughs and shrieks happily, enjoying the attention she's getting from her big brother, her older sisters who came home, and her mother.

Phae stays in her room, pouting a little while her sister seraphi idly plays with a broken toy, "Phae its no big deal. we'll all get our powers some day."

Touhou is with yori, although he peaks out from the room into the corridor at the scene of so many deer in elyza's room

After awhile Yori figures he's done enough for the day and also peeks out, before going to Phae's room, " hey, you alright?"

seraphi looks over at yori, "She's just upset that Elyza is progressing faster than expected."

phae huffs, "its not fair..."

Yori plops down to sit cross legged on the floor, " seems like she gets all the attention huh? it can really suck when you feel overlooked."

[MissyLooni]

phea wipes her face, "she keeps doing everything better than us and its just frustrating."

Yori scoots closer, " you know, i always felt the same way with Takana. yeah he's older than i am, but i never lived up to the things he was able to do even when i reached the same age he did them at. i still feel that way sometimes, like im just not good enough. But, everyone is different. life isn't a contest against other people. there's always gonna be someone out there that can do things better, and measuring yourself against others will just make you frustrated and sad. So instead, you only look at yourself. life is a race against yourself, with the goal to be a little better, to learn a little more, every single day. because you are the only person you have any control over."

phae's eyes are watery and she looks at yori, sniffling, "Um. can i have a hug?"

Yori nods, " of course. hugs are always free." he opens his arms.

Phae gets off her bed and goes over to yori and hugs him

Yori hugs her, squeezing just a bit, " you're a good friend, don't forget that."

Phae nods and after a while she pulls away and wipes her eyes, "thank you. You are too."

Yori nods, " thanks. do you wanna play some video games with me? you can play too Seraphi if you want."

Phae nods, "um yeah!"

Seraphi blinks and looks up, "video games?"

Yori nods, " yeah, it's from the human district. you can control little characters on the tv. come on." he heads to the livingroom, " what do you wanna play Phae?"
