Takana blinks when he heard the speakers and he frowns before looking at izanagi, "who was that on the speakers? what was all of that?"

[Namari]

Izanagi looks at Takana, " oh right. that's the inspection and border guard. about once a month, give or take, they make it random, every demon needs to gather to have their collar checked to make sure it's in working order..."

[MissyLooni]

Takana frowns, "Oh... right the inspection." would his ex be around then?  "Um... what did they mean by severely punished? That sounds a little extreme."

[Namari]

Izanagi pales, " i um...wearing a collar not in working condition is... not tolerated. i... i don't want to talk about it." he scurries from the kitchen.

[MissyLooni]

Takana blinks and frowns before sighing and going back to make the food

[Namari]

Arakan leaves the cafe, all traces of his good mood gone as he goes to get thing ready for the inspections.

Soon the day ends and takana starts wrapping the kitchen up

The manager helps close things down at the end of the day, chewing her lip as she considers the options, " alright, i know things have been hectic, so with the upcoming inspections i've decided we'll be closed tomorrow. of course we'll be closed on the day after as well as that's inspection day, but i want you all to take tomorrow to get your collars checked and then take a bit of a day to yourself. try not to stress too much, we've gotten through plenty of inspections before, this one will be no different."

the girls look at the manager and nods.

mina rubs her arm, "Im gonna go with mama and papa tomorrow then. it'll be easier to go with them then by myself."

Takana watches the scene unfold, the atmosphere heavy and tense and he wisely keeps his mouth shut

The manager nods, " alright. Hikari, call me if you need anything alright?" she wasn;t going to ask if the other wanted her to go with or if she had money to afford getting her collar checked out, she knew the other was proud and hated her situation called out. but hopefully the offer would tell her that the manager was there to help if she needed it.

Arakan comes to the cafe, walking in and looking everyone over, " alright, lets get you all home."

Izanagi goes to follow Arakan, glad he hadn;t forgotten that other demon was around with the chaos of the inspection coming up.

Hikari nods at the manager before going over to arakan along with mina, kaeru, and takana

[Namari]

Arakan looks wiped, he had intended to sleep some today but with that announcement... he'd be going without for the next couple days it seemed while he kept an eye out for those demons and tried to get everything ready. He sighs and waits until everyone is grouped up and heads out, taking them to each of their homes.

kaeru gets to her shrine safely and mina and hikari get to their homes as well. Mina, getting hugged by her parents at the door while hikari just goes inside quietly.

The other new employees are escorted home and soon it's just Izanagi, Takana and Arakan. Arakan stifles a yawn as they walk, though by no means less alert despite his lack of sleep.

Takana glances up at arakan and frowns before looking back down. Should he even ask if arakan is doing well? He pouts and looks down
