Mina blinks and nods before going over to Takana, "The owner wants to see you."

Takana looks at her and frowns, "What?! Why? He couldnt have tasted my coffee and hated it already."

Hikari blinks, "He's never disliked my coffee and yours was good so what on earth...." she shrugs, "Dont make him angry."

Takana sighs and walks out from behind the counter and goes over to Arakan, "Yeah?" his tone sounds more annoyed than anything

Mina hears Takana's blunt voice and she face palms

Hikari looks at Izanagi and nods, quickly getting the tea ready

Arakan frowns, setting his summer roll down and wiping his lips with a napkin. " your tone is disrespectful, i suggest you amend that." his keeps his own tone cold, making it clear he's not pleased. " your collar, does it fit well? and the chafing, you have been using the cream i gave you, is it healing?"

Takana huffs, "yeah, it fits fine. You didnt have to do that. And your tone aint too great either. Im still mad at you for just pulling me out of work yesterday. Im not being paid to run around. Im being paid to work here. You should focus more on your coffee before it gets cold and less on someone like me."
You could say one thing about Takana. He takes whatever job he has seriously. And today his job is to make coffee and tea.

Mina is trying not to shit herself since she can hear Takana.

Nikiri glances over and xlears his throat a little, "oh my. It seems as though nagi chan will need another roommate soon..." he gets up in case he needs to intervene.

Summer looks over and blinks, "oh yeah i just noticed that pink guy. Whats his problem? Its like he was raised by humans..."

Arakan growls and slowly gets up, his face lengthening as he partly starts to shift forms. He bares much longer and sharper teeth than any normal human has, and long black claws sprout from his hands. " i ignored your disrespect prior as you were new and stupid, but i will not tolerate such behavior from anyone in MY district." As he exhales a cloud of freezing air is visible, and he grabs Takana by the front of the shirt and drags him closer so those fangs are directly in the smaller males face.

Izanagi has the jasmine tea and comes around the corner, squeaking in fear when he sees the situation and dropping the plate with the tea in his hands, the plate and cup shattering on the floor.

Hikari's ears turn back and she lowers her head, "oh god damn it. The one person who can make good coffee is about to get killed...typical."

Takana huffs, "Alright i get it, despite having ice powers you literally cant chill."

Nikiri hums softly and goes over to them, "You're right Arakan. He IS new and stupid. He probably just doesnt understand fully how things work. What, isnt this his second day or something like that?" He looks at Takana, "And no one has explained anything to you properly?"

Takana blinks and frowns, "I mean.... I know not to call these things Good Boy Collars..."

Nikiri nods and looks at Arakan, "He doesnt follow human orders so his humans toss him out to the wolves Arakan. Then on day two we just expect him to know the rules and follow them? Come on, we're better than the humans. Maybe someone should instruct him on things first. Give him an actual chance. I wouldnt be surprised if he's still acting out over the betrayal of just being tossed like garbage, yeah?"

Takana freezes slightly, nikiri's last sentence hitting a little too close to home and his voice gets soft, "I-....I'm not garbage..."

Nikiri hums softly and looks at Arakan, "You seem busy, and angry, so how about I teach him how things run here yeah?"

Summer gets up and goes over to Arakan, bowing slightly to show respect before standing up straight, "I think... if you can forgive him, it'd be nice to show the humans that we're better than them. That despite everything, we have more humanity than the humans. Plleeeeeeeeaaase Arakan?"
 

[Namari]

Arakan's eyes shift over to Nikiri, and he considers as the other speaks. " as if the humans care what we do with our own anyway." he growls, " very well. i will allow him to live this time. However i will not permit him to make such a blatant display of disrespect towards me again, and if he does, it will reflect badly on your judgement as well Nikiri." he lets the implication of that sink in before he lets go of Takana, " i suggest you think carefully about who you wish to pick fights with here, and you bend your ass backwards to thank Nikiri for convincing me to spare you. i doubt you deserve it." he sits back down, his appearance shifting back to normal as he picks up his coffee and takes a drink of it.

Izanagi makes his way back to Hikari and sinks down against the wall, " oh gods. im gonna need another jasmine tea, and a cleanup out there. and maybe a barf bag. oooooh i think i need to sit for a minute."

Nikiri gives a sigh of relief before picking up Takana and bringing him over to the counter, "delivery. One stupid boy. Extra stupid."

Takana pouts as he is set back down by hikari.

Mina quickly cleans up izanagi's mess

Hikari makes another tea.

Nikiri shakes his head, "i swear if you dont end up dying by the end of this week you'll be famous for pissing off arakan twice and living to tell the tale."

[Namari]

Izanagi nods, " he must be in a really forgiving mood lately...jeez. what is wrong with you?!" he directs this at Takana. He then looks at Nikiri, " im so sorry you had to get involved in this, it's really, really generous of you to stick your neck out for him this way."

Arakan frowns at his phone, muttering under his breath as he takes another sauced up bite of summer roll.

Takana huffs at izanagi, "Why am I in the wrong here? You said he was important right? Why is he asking someone like me questions when he should just focus on what he's doing, which is eating."

Nikiri shakes his head, "It is alright nagi dear. you need a roommate and I knew this kid would make this district more interesting. Which, in a way, I was right."

Summer blinks and looks at Nikiri, "He just looks like an overly pink kid to me."

Nikiri chuckles and crosses his arms, "a very pink kid."

[Namari]

Izanagi gapes at Takana, " yeah he's important, so maybe don't piss him off?! he can literally snap your neck with his bare hands. are you suicidal? if you are tell me now so i can put another ad for a roommate up because dead people don't pay rent."

[MissyLooni]

Takana glares, "Of course im not suicidal! I just dont unde-"

Nikiri covers takana's mouth with his hands so the sound of a pissed of takana doesnt cause arakan to change his mind, "Nagi-chan, nagi my sweet angel. You cant expect someone who has spent their entire life to understand our side of things in two days." He gives Izanagi a knowing look

Izanagi sighs, " you're right. please please please help me so he doesn;t get himself killed Kiri i will literally do anything you want if you help me out with him."

[MissyLooni]

Nikiri smiles and hums, "as long as we both work hard to ensure he lives i wont ask anything of you. Consider the amount of entertainment im going to get from this as my reward."

[Namari]

Izanagi nods frantically, " im trying! he's so stubborn but im trying. you really are the best..."

Hikari blinks, holding out the tea awkwardly, "is anyong going to drink this or....?"

Nikiri lets go of takana and sighs happily as he takes the cup, "thank you my dear. Much appreciated." He sips his tea happily

Takana dusts himself off and goes back over to the machines, "freaking weirdos..."
