Topic: To Cross That Line (Namari x Missylooni)

[MissyLooni]

Takana looks down, his hand instinctively touching his neck and he shakes his head before finishing shopping, "Lets just get out of here..."

[Namari]

Izanagi sighs, " alright." he follows after, handing over some money to help pay for the groceries and glancing back to see that Nikiri was still with them.

[MissyLooni]

Nikiri was still following, watching takana carefully. he notices izanagi looking at him and he quickly puts on his cheerful facade and waves.

Takana quickly pays, thanking the cashier before heading outside

[Namari]

Izanagi blinks before waving back. For some reason Nikiri's usual cheerful face didn;t seem the way it normally did... " so... back to the apartment then? im sorry Nikiri, i kinda live in a trashy place...."

[MissyLooni]

Nikiri hums, "no need to apologize nagi-chan. My family didnt always have such fortunes when i was a kid so i'm quite well adjusted to less than adequate conditions. "

Takana looks back at izanagi, waiting to let him take the lead,  "i don't know how to get back to your place. "

[Namari]

Izanagi nods, " alright." he takes the lead and heads to the slummy area where their apartment is, unlocking it and heading in when they get there.

[MissyLooni]

Takana sighs softly and heads inside, setting the groceries down and begins getting actual food made

Nikiri steps inside, doing his best to not stare at anything that might seem offending of his stare, "Now, first things first. He should take off your halloween cat ears you wore for three years in a row."

 

[Namari]

Izanagi's eyes widen and he blushes, " uh, wh-what do you mean? those are his ears...." he stammers, lying to a high class demon did not come easily, and it was fairly obvious he was lying.

[MissyLooni]

Takana glances at them and sighs

Nikiri shakes his head,  "...now izanagi i know you're just panicking but i have already made it clear that i know what those ears are.  Please do not continue this act."

[Namari]

Izanagi pales and he lowers his head, " ...of course." he looks over at Takana, " might as well take them off. he's figured it out."

[MissyLooni]

Takana nods and takes them off, a little thankful.

Nikiri snorts, "figured it out? Hun, i knew as soon as i saw those ears." He sighs and gets serious for a moment, "now izanagi what in hell were you thinking? If arakan paid attention to what you wear as much as i do then he would have figured out that you were hiding a human in front of him. That is incredibly dangerous."

[Namari]

Izanagi bites his lip and looks down, " it was all i had... he needed a job, we needed another worker. Arakans too busy to pay attention to someone like me. I should have guessed you might notice though. He needed a place to stay and i needed a roommate. it worked out. i mean he's an ass and has no idea what things are like, but he wasn;t that bad at first so... yeah." he rubs his neck.

[MissyLooni]

Takana huffs, "at first? Rude."

Nikiri sighs and shakes his head, "of all the humans....well. i did promise I'd help so i did make sure to bring a little gift for him. Something that will make anyone believe he's a demon. I had an acquaintance make one a while back however i never did think I'd get to use it considering it depends on the wearer to be human." He pulls out a black, velvet box with red markings and a gold lock, "even i would be fooled if he wore this thing."

Takana blinks and stops chopping veggies before looking over curiously, "alright ya gonna stop hyping it up and just ooen the box?"

[Namari]

Izanagi looks at Takana, " you've been telling me how awful and scary demons are and how it's okay that we're locked up like animals. yeah i think you're an ass right now." he perks up, curious, and peers at the box, " no kidding? im dying here, open it!"

[MissyLooni]

Takana huffs, "yeah you guys are scary! A dude with a loaded gun is scary too! Should you be treated like shit for nothing? No. But it'd be nice to have everyone on the same level. "

Nikiri sighs and shakes his head,  "in due time he'll learn. Anyway, " he opens the box, a pair of cat ears like any other are inside aside from the fact that there's almost a cord that goes from the center, down a few inches.

Takana looks over and frowns, "that looks like a normal pair of ears to me..."
