Topic: To Cross That Line (Namari x Missylooni)

Takana looks at her and his ears twitch before he nervously rubs his arm, "ah. Im sorry about causing so much trouble... i do want to stay if you'll let me. "

Makoto taps furiously on his phone, 'at least it shows some initiative. If it makes you feel better you and i can go on a little trip or something before you make a decision. Takana promised you one,  right?  A shame he doesn't keep his promises. "

[Namari]

She chuckles softly, " well as long as you promise to try and not further offend one of our most important customers, i think we can see to letting you stay."

Yori looks away from his phone at that, ' i'll think about it. it would be nice to go somewhere with you for once, you're always so busy...' and always treat him like a kid, but he wasn;t about to say that.

[MissyLooni]

Takana boys,  "yes ma'am!" Here goes nothing! You can do it! Just mention the damn soup!

He blushes and his face feels hot as his hands grab at the hem of his outfit so that he can absentmindedly pull at the fabric,  "um-! Last night i uh- i made dinner for izanagi and i and he thought it was really good.  Good enough to think i could also make food here which would help keep me away from customers since ahh... my customer service isnt great.  I brought some as an example in case but dont feel like you have to. He just wouldnt let it go so i said id mention it to you but im sure since he just eats cup ramen that maybe anything will taste good to him."

[Namari]

She raises an eyebrow and crosses her arms, " it's true your customer service could...use work. And Izanagi doesn't exactly have the most distinguished tastes. I'll try it however, there's no harm in that. we'll leave any other discussion about it until after. make use of the kitchen if you need to."

[MissyLooni]

Takana's eyes widen and he blinks when she gives him the okay. He stutters in shock before snapping out of it and nods,  quickly grabbing the bag of goodies and heading to the kitchen, giving the baker there a brief explanation as to why he's back there before getting to work. He would be lying if he said working in a professional kitchen wasnt making him excited.

Nikiri is already at his usual table,  humming happily and waiting patiently for izanagi to give him attention

[Namari]

Izanagi is soon in an adorable and very short black maid outfit. He skips out and sees Nikiri, grinning and going over, " well hello there handsome stranger, what can i get you today~?"

The manager chuckles and checks out front to make sure everything is taken care of.

[MissyLooni]

Nikiri licks his lips and hums,  "well now,  I'd ask if you were on the menu but im sure your boss would cut off my tongue for saying such things. "

[Namari]

Izanagi grins and plops into the others lap, whispering in his ear, " im on the secret menu off work hours for you any day."

[MissyLooni]

Nikiri hums, "is that so? Well,  we'll have to turn my place into a gallery so that i can start pinning you to the wall. "

[Namari]

Izanagi licks his lips, " don't promise me things unless you plan to deliver~"

The manager pokes her head out, " Izanagi!"

He yelps and quickly climbs off Nikiri, glad for the skirt that hid his boner.

[MissyLooni]

It doesn't take long for the kitchen to be filled with a savory smell as takana finishes up the broth. He gently curls the noodles into the bowl to look proper, adds the flavorful broth and adds the soft boiled egg, green onions, nori and slices of ham known as chashu.
He honestly thought it was the prettiest bowl of ramen that he ever plated and he secretly wished he could show yori...

The steam coming from the bowl made it all the more appetizing and  he kept smiling as he grabbed a fork.
He gently picked up the bowl and carried it over to the manager, "here."

Both mina and hikari sniff the air curiously, mina licking her lips and drooling a little.
Hikari just quietly wished someone would make her food that smelled that good

[Namari]

The manager takes it and takes a sniff, " well the aroma is good." she carefully takes a bite, chewing slowly and analyzing the flavors. After a minute she nods, " if you can make it like this every time, flavor wise, the plating is lovely but even if it's not quite this nice it'll do, then this will make a good addition to our menu. i'll have to look over the prices of the ingredients though, we may need to use something cheaper if it's too much. regardless, if this is the cooking you can bring to my cafe, you may cook if you'd like. i just need to see and taste things before they go on the menu."

[MissyLooni]

Takana's ears perk and his mouth drops open, he certainly wasnt expecting that! "um oh! thank you! I can make plenty of things. I always lived by myself and im pretty picky with flavors so even if its cheap I can always make it taste good. But, of course, its something id have you taste first to see if its appropriate."

[Namari]

The manager nods, " just as well you haven't changed yet, if you wouldn't mind going to the store and getting enough to make a batch, enough for maybe 10 customers full sized bowls." she pulls out 100 dollars, " will this be enough for ingredients? i will need receipts. we can work on lowering costs once i see what all we need so i can buy it from cheaper sources, but for now we just need to work on getting interest in it and seeing what we need."

[MissyLooni]

Takana nods, "honestly the pork belly is the most expensive part of this ramen but you can do without it. I personally like the protein but in a pinch it'll be fine without. And yeah thats more than enough. receipts, got it." He grins and takes the money, putting it in his wallet so it doesnt get lost. He just had to remember how to get to the store from here.
