The manager looks at him, " we could put a little bit of pork belly in if it adds to the flavor, but maybe more regular ham than that. do you know how to get to the stores?"

[MissyLooni]

Takana looks up at her and rubs the back of his head, "Ah. yeah that could work. oh and i have only been there for food once. maybe that area twice for clothes but im still unfamiliar with the layout of... everything."

[Namari]

The manager nods, " wait here." she walks out to the dining area and over to Nikiri, bowing before standing straight and looking at him, " i have a favor to ask. Our new hire needs to go get some supplies, and i would appreciate if you took him. you'll get a free serving of the new dish he's making for our customers, and i think you'll enjoy it."

[MissyLooni]

Nikiri hums and stretches, "Well he is my responsibility when he is outside. I suppose making sure he doesnt sass his way to an instant death is my job anyway."

[Namari]

She chuckles, " if the rest of the soup he's making is half as good as the sample he gave me, im sure you'll be leased with your reward." she heads back to takana, " Nikiri will take you to the stores to get the supplies, be sure to thank him for his kindness."

[MissyLooni]

Takana nods, "Okay, thank you manager for letting me do this. I'll be back quickly!"

He goes over to nikiri and they both leave the cafe

Izanagi pouts as Nikiri leaves but gets back to work serving customers.

[MissyLooni]

After a while the two come back, nikiri holding more grocery bags than takana.

Takana quickly goes over to the manager and hands her the change along with the receipts.

[Namari]

The manager nods to Nikiri, " thank you." and takes the receipts, looking them over, " not too bad all things considered. well, get to cooking." she smiles to make the order less harsh and takes the change and receipts into her office to file and deal with.

Takana grins and quickly goes back to the kitchen and starts cooking some more, happily knowing the food will taste better since it'll be fresh!

Nikiri sighs when the groceries are taken from him and he goes back to his table, humming happily

Izanagi bounces over and plops into his lap, " i missed you!"

[MissyLooni]

Nikiri smiles and hugs izanagi, "Ah~ thank goodness~ I need a recharge!"

[Namari]

Izanagi is more than happy to be cuddled and hugged.

The manager sighs and decides not to say anything since Nikiri had just done her a decently large favor. She goes out to take care of customers and then pops back into the kitchen to check on their progress.

Takana is plating the bowls, making them look perfect, the eggs perfectly cooked to a soft boil, "I dare say soft boiled eggs are the key to the creaminess to the broth when the yolk leaks everywhere." He smiles at how wonderful everything looks and smells

[Namari]

The manager nods and takes one of the bowls, " these look great, place them under the warmer for now to keep them hot." she takes the one bowl out and places it in front of Nikiri, "here we are, our newest addition to our menu, though in limited quantity today. i hope you enjoy!" she makes sure to say it loud enough for the rest of the cafe to hear, the aroma of the soup filling the cafe.
