Izanagi snorts, " only if you're an asshole to him. just keep in mind that he has a lot on his plate keeping everything under control and everyone safe... he's got a lot of stress and he's under a lot of pressure to be a certain way. if he doesn't appear strong and assertive he wouldn;t be respected."

"He could still say please to certain things. Doesnt have to be for everything but hearing it every now and then would be nice. "

Izanagi shakes his head, " no, he can't. not after the way you behaved. think about it this way, a much weaker demon than him has already clearly disrespected him, a new demon no less who hasn't already shown they know their place, and then he starts asking nicely and caving to their wishes? he'd lose all respect of anyone who saw it. maybe if you two were alone, but until you show the proper respect to him he has to be extra harsh with you in public in order to save face since he already allowed you to disrespect him more than once now. there are too many demons for him to keep order by strength and force alone, he needs to be a strong and unquestionable figure of authority."

Takana blushes and huffs, "i... if i had been at a job and pulled away like that with no idea what was going on i would probably have lost my job, and been kidnapped. What you guys have to go through to get a new collar is terrifying and stupid and i was scared shitless. And he didnt make things any better."
His ears flatten against his head, "clearly i will do my best to not interact with him if i can because nothing good will come of it. As for public stuff.... i'll....try... to watch my.... tone."

Izanagi sighs, " He was trying to be nice, believe it or not. He doesn't know you're human, for a new demon, having him take charge and take care of you would have been reassuring. So he really was trying. And he couldn't have known you've never been collared before. I appreciate you'll try though. "

Takana sighs, "well i either try or you need a new roommate..."

Izanagi chuckles, " that about sums it up. but seriously, he was trying to be nice and let you know that a strong demon was looking out for you. it's a good thing. yeah he was angry, but you kind of threw that kindness back in his face..." he shrugs, " anyway i hope the manager got stuff for you to make more of that soup, the customers really were into it."

Takana nods, "i was also thinking of bringing the curry i made last night. It is a lot cheaper to make and easy to change up if someone wants it not spicy at all or essentially have a fire mouth."

Izanagi nods, " yeah! im sure that'll be a good one too! we're gonna be the most popular restaurant ever!" he bounces to his room and gets dressed in a regular outfit and grabs his bag with his maid outfit for the day. " this is awesome."

Takana hums in agreement as he gets ready, glancing up at his ears. He kept forgetting these things existed...
He grabs the bag of curry and a bag with more rice.
Uncooked rice! The only thing leftover rice is good for is fried rice. Making fresh rice at the restaurant wouldn't be difficult AND it just makes curry so much better than if he were to bring the leftover rice in the fridge

Izanagi smiles, " i think this is good. you'll be happier back in the kitchen. though it means we gotta look for another new employee to waitress again. ah well." he sighs and grins, " i'd rather have the food."

Takana shrugs, "if we get the restaurant popular enough then finding a new waiter should be incredibly easy."

He happily heads outside, glad to potentially be showing the manager another good dish

Izanagi seems in a super good mood, and he should be since he got a good nights sleep and some tension relief. " hopefully!" he walks with Izanagi as they head to the shop, going in and heading towards the back.

The manager glances up when she hears the doors open, " ah, good to see you boys. Takana, there's ingredients enough that you should be able to keep up with soup orders for a few days. though, if the customers are as excited for it today as they were yesterday i'll probably need to get more ingredients for tomorrow, regardless there ought to be plenty for today."

Takana nods, "understood. Also, last night i made curry on rice. Nikiri had some and thought it was good so i brought that too for you to try if you wanted? Curry is a lot cheaper annus easier to make since rice is its staple ingredient and rice is freaking cheap as heck."

[Namari]

The manager nods, " that's a bit unusual for our shop, but i'll try anything once. since it IS so unusual i'll have you make up sample plates for us to give out. especially since it's a cheap dish to make. we'll give a sample dish to each customer today who wants one. just a few bites worth. Feel free to play with any ingredients we have in the cooler as well if you have extra time, i'll work the front so you can stay in the kitchen."

Izanagi gets his maid outfit on, showing off plenty of skin as he starts serving customers.
