Nikiri gives izanagi a soft wave as he gives an exhausted smile,  "good evening boys. "

Takana blinks and frowns, "dude are you okay? You look terrible. "

Izanagi frowns, " no kidding. what happened?" he wanted to glomp the deer, but was afraid of knocking him over with how tired he looks.

[MissyLooni]

Nikiri shakes his head,  "don't worry about it. Just family affairs..." he pulls out a couple of big books and hands them to takana,  "this is your homework. "

Takana's eyes widen when he takes the books,  "the hell are these? "

Nikiri hums, "our side of the war. I would appreciate you going through these for the rest of the week.  No need to go too in depth but it is a good idea to see things from the losing side too."

[Namari]

Izanagi blinks and looks at the books, " how did you even get these? i thought they banned those."

[MissyLooni]

Nikiri shrugs, "Not important. But lets get you two home."

Takana nods and starts walking

Izanagi frowns, " i hope you won;t get into trouble..." he starts heading towards home, worried.

Nikiri waves his hand dismissively as he follows them, "You worry too much love. its fine. I have good friends in odd places."

[Namari]

Izanagi nods slowly, " alright..." it was still concerning but if Nikiri felt he was safe then he had to be. Plus it's not as if Izanagi could do anything about it anyway.

Takana goes inside their apartment and sets the books down before going to the table and sitting down,  "ooofta."

Nikiri watches in amusement, "it seems as though the good food has made the cafe a little too popular. "

[Namari]

Izanagi nods and whines, " way too popular! yesterday and today we were soooo busy! today the manager even had to limit how many people were in the cafe! there was a line!"

[MissyLooni]

nikiri makes a soft whistle sound, "Impressive. there's not too many places in any of the districts that can pull in numbers like that. Even if he doesnt look at his books any time soon i would not be surprised if people start asking him about his cafe. Dont be surprised if he shows up sooner than inspected. with that being said, takana. No matter if you get the full week or not to be.... ugh trained i guess is the best word for you, do not start anything okay? Behave if he approaches you."

Takana pouts a little before sighing, "I...I'll try..... to not let my anger get the best of me. Really. But only because you already look way too tired to deal with anymore bullshit."

Nikiri blinks before rubbing the back of his head and chuckling, "I do look a freight dont I? Dont fret. its nothing too worrisome for the both of you."

[Namari]

Izanagi sighs, " yeah i suppose that's a point. we can probably expect him to show up any day now." he pouts, " of course im going to worry!"

[MissyLooni]

Nikiri looks at them before sighing, "If i tell the both of you then I would wish that you wouldnt tell anyone."

Takana nods, "My lips are sealed."

Nikiri leans against the wall and crosses his arms, "My parents havent broken the news yet but Mother had a miscarriage yesterday and after having doctors over all day it was determined that she is no longer able to carry a child. So Elyza, our youngest, will be the last child mother and father have."

Takana blinks and frowns, "Oh gods im so sorry to hear that..."

[Namari]

Izanagi nods, " of course not, i won;t tell anyone." he blinks and lowers his head, " that's awful. i hope she's okay."

[MissyLooni]

Nikiri sighs, "She's pretty distraught. losing a child for anyone is difficult so I have been by her side all day yesterday."
