Topic: To Cross That Line (Namari x Missylooni)

Everyone is working as hard as they can, and true to mina's word, nikiri carefully steps in when it's close to closing, sitting away frrom most of the crowd

[Namari]

Izanagi bounce over when he sees him, " it's busy so i can;t talk but i reeeeally need to talk to you at closing okay?" he bounces off to keep working.

Arakan also makes his appearance right before closing, not ordering anything just waiting for the shop to close.

[MissyLooni]

Nikiri sees arakan and smirks at him, "smells pretty good in here doesnt it."

[Namari]

Arakan raises an eyebrow, " it does, i've heard there are some popular new dishes from several people. Im not here to eat however, there's a dangerous demon in the district evidently and i was asked to escort the employees home."

[MissyLooni]

Nikiri stiffens and he frowns, quickly getting serious, "a-ah. That... well im glad i stopped by then."

[Namari]

Arakan nods, " i will be looking into the matter tonight after i've seen them safely back to their homes."

The manager locks up the cafe after the last customer leaves, allowing of course Arakan and Nikiri to stay inside, " alright, good work again everyone."

Izanagi goes over to Nikiri, " Nikiri! there was a super scary demon last night with no eyeballs and creepy long arms with tattoos and we smelled something weird and he was humming and we hid and then he said he had heard us and it was super fucking scary."

Arakan raises an eyebrow at the description as he overhears that.

Nikiri quickly wraps his arms around izanagi and holds him tightly, "i heard. Oh im so sorry you had to go through with that. You're alright though, right? Do i need to switch my kimono out to a new one for you?"

Takana steps out from the kitchen and looks at the manager, "kitchen is all set for tomorrow."

Mina and kaeru are holding each others hands as they hesitantly look out the cafe's windows, not wanting to go out there.

Hikari gets her bag ready and looks at the girls before shaking her head. She wasnt sure if panicking was something that was needed. It had been a whole day so surely that demon probably left already. Everyone was over reacting

[Namari]

Izanagi blinks when Nikiri hugs him, though is happy enough to snuggle in, " im okay. he didn;t find us, and we got home safe. the one i have still has a lot of scent... it's alright."

The manager nods, " well done Takana, thank you. alright everyone, stay with Arakan and get home safely, listen to what he tells you alright?" she looks hard at Takana with that last bit before going into her office.

Arakan steps over to the employees, " we'll all go together and drop the girls off first, then we'll drop off the boys since they're further off. lets go." he goes to the door and opens it.

The new guy hesitates before following, and Izanagi stays clinging to Nikiri. he wasn't quite ready to let go of his comfort yet.

Takana blushes when the manager gives him a look and he quickly looks away, ears back. Right. Behave. God that sounds stupid.

Nikiri keeps one arm around nagi and goes over to arakan, "you gonna take the front and i'll follow behind? I dont doubt your ability to protect at all but i'm sure izanagi would prefer i follow."

Mina smiles at arakan and follows close to him happily.

Hikari follows obediently, her expression still void of any emotion since she didnt feel like she was in any danger.

Kareu clings to mina, shaken up the most despite her shrine only being a couple of blocks away. The main road would split off further down and cross a small wooden bridge where a small pond and stream surround a small,  quaint shrine where frogs ribbit loudly

[Namari]

Arakan nods, " very well." he takes the lead and heads to the closest residence that they need to drop someone off at, clearly alert and watching for any sign of danger and making sure everyone stays close.

Izanagi is more than happy to stay glued to Nikiri's side. might as well enjoy it while he can!

Kaeru crosses the bridge when they get to her place and she bows to arakan before going inside her shrine, the frogs following

Nikiri for once is less focused on nagi and more alert on his surroundings

[Namari]

Arakan nods to her and watches to make sure she get in safely before heading to the next place.

[MissyLooni]

Its mina's family home. Not big, but very decent all things considering. The lights are on and a woman who looks as bubbly as mina is waiting at the door.

Mina smiles happily,  "mama!!" She looks at arakan and bows, "thank you! " she runs down the sidewalk up to her mom, "guess what! I got a lot of tips today! "

The mother hugs mina before looking at arakan and giving a nod to him, a silent but grateful thanks,  before bringing mina inside and closing the door.

Hikari kept her eyes to the ground during the entire thing. She absolutely did not want to see such a happy family. It would upset her and it would upset mina, and it wasn't fair to mina.

[Namari]

Arakan nods respectfully to Mina's mother and waits until they're safely inside before continuing on.

Izanagi nuzzles into Nikiri's side.

They continue walking for a bit until they get to a slightly smaller house. Its a little dilapidated, and there are no lights on. There is no sense of warmth with this house unlike the one before. The tall grass and broken fences doesnt really help the overall appearance of the sad little home.

Hikari bows to arakan for respect towards him, although if she had the choice not to she would only because she didnt want to look at anyone. She was terrified of seeing pity, concern, or whatever you called it. And she didnt want to hear any comments. She just wanted to hide from them in her home.
Once she's done with the quick bow she runs for the door, carefully opening it so the hinges dont show their age and she closes the door.
