nikiri's eyes narrow as he watches the demon slowly walk down the sidewalk, one hand resting on his sword.

the demon stops, slowly moving his head around, sniffing

Takana shudders and looks around to see if anyone else is nearby

eventually the demon continues walking away, his hands dragging against the sidewalk

[Namari]

Izanagi lets out a sigh of relief, looking up at Nikiri, not wanting to talk just yet in case the demon was within earshot.

[MissyLooni]

nikiri waits a few more minutes before he turns around to look at both boys, "is that the demon you were talking about before?"

[Namari]

Izanagi nods, " yeah! he's got that sulfur smell, and drags his arms. we think he's blind, but he's got crazy good hearing and smell..."

[MissyLooni]

nikiri nods, "Okay, im going to get you guys home as soon as possible and then im going to-"

nikiri is cut off and his body jerks painfully as a hand suddenly shoots right through him from the back and coming out in the front of his gut

takana's eyes widen and he shrieks, taking a step back

[Namari]

Izanagi nods and then yelps, eyes wide as he panics, " Nikiri!"

[MissyLooni]

the demon is right behind nikiri, crouching on the metal railing, grinning, "Thought I smelled a bitch."

Nikiri snarls, blood dripping from his mouth. He grabs the demons hand, pulling it forward more before unsheathing his sword and swiftly slicing the hand off.

The demon loses his balances once he's suddenly pulled forward and his hand is chopped off, falling backwards and landing roughly on the ground below them.

Nikiri tosses the hand to the side before quickly turning around and looking over at the body at the ground, "Shit." he looks at the boys, "Take this fire escape up to the roof where there is an entrance to the building where you'll be safe then call Arakan. NOW."

Takana's eyes are fixated on the hole in nikiri's gut, shaking

Izanagi whimpers but nods and grabs Takana's hand, dragging him along as he takes the stairs up as quickly as he can.

[MissyLooni]

Takana panics and follows izanagi, "fuckfuckfuckfuck what the fuck whatthefuck?!"

The demon holds his sliced arm up and the skin around the wound bubbles before a new hand bursts through and he flexes it, getting used to the new nerve endings

Nikiri glares, "oh hell no." he jumps over the railing and lands next to the demon, "Alright fucker. how about you do me a favor and just sit there quietly for a few minutes."

the demon hums softly and pushes himself up, "Sorry. no can do Okuya."

the stag bristles, "How can you tell? i dont see any eyes on you."

The demon chuckles, "you deer have the worst smell."

[Namari]

Izanagi keeps going, " stop thinking and just do what we're told! we're dead weight!" as soon as he gets in the building he quickly pulls out his cell phone and calls Arakan, telling him where they were as soon as he answers, " Nikiri's gonna die if you don't get here quick!"

Arakan snarls, " i'll be there shortly." he puts his phone away and lets the ice crackle on his body, quick huh? well it'd hurt like a bitch, but there was only one way to go as quick as needed... He lets his body change and roars as his collar burns his neck, running through the streets leaving a trail of ice behind him.

the demon charges at nikiri but the stag dodges by jumping over him, however he finds himself to be slower than he should be as the injury puts a strain on him.

Nikiri turns to look at the demon but when he doesnt see him his eyes widen. he has only seconds when the demon appears behind him however his body cant move and he gets punched across the face, making him stumble backwards and drop his sword.

The demon cackles, "Face it. you were dead the moment my hand went through you. you guys can smell me coming right? That sulfur stench? That smell comes from the glands on my skin that produce toxins on contact. Its only a matter of time for you."

Nikiri snarls and his collar crackles softly before he quickly transforms into his stag form, his antlers growing more outward and large.

The demon tilts his head, "A peacock huh? Not surprised."

Nikiri's stag form gives him an extra boost of speed and he charges at the demon, slamming his antlers into him and pinning him into the apartment building. he had to just keep the demon in place until arakan shows up. he just needed to waste time.

the demon cant help but give a cry in agony as sharp antlers stab into him and pin him into the wall. He glares at nikiri and his back begins to bubble before six arms, three on each side, spurt outwards and grab tightly onto the antlers, "GET OFF OF ME." He pulls on the antlers in opposite directions with so much pressure that veins start appearing on his new arms from the strain

nikiri closes his eyes tightly as he keeps his hooves firmly planted in the ground. His body had been in too much pain for him to register anything else and the sound of his collar trying to do its job was too loud to hear his antlers giving way to the amount of force that was being applied to them and before he knew it a loud snap was heard and his head was dripping with blood.

The demon manages to break nikiri's left antler and he pushes the stag off off him towards the street, "Fuck these things are tough to break."

Nikiri hits the ground with a loud thud, landing on his wounded side. his vision blurs but he can clearly see one of his antlers in the enemies hands and he cant help but give a low whine before the exhaustion causes him to go back into his more human form, blood pooling underneath his head.

the demon huffs and goes over to nikiri, smirking, "gotta hand it to ya. it aint often a lowly rank like yourself gets me to expose my other six arms. now the only question left for me is should i let ya bleed out and give ya a slow death? Or maybe use your own antler here to finish you off? maybe stick it back into your head where it belongs~?"

[Namari]

Which is where Arakan comes charging around the corner, eyes locking on the demon and lunging at him, jaw grabbing for the demon as the temperatures drop dramatically.

[MissyLooni]

The demon has no chance to escape as he is suddenly grabbed and he shrieks when he feels his body quickly begin to freeze

takana hears the demon's cries from inside and he glances at izanagi, "u-uh do-do you think arakan made it?"

[Namari]

Izanagi slowly goes to the door and opens it, looking down, " he did!"

Arakan slams him into the wall to silence him and break his neck dropping him on the ground and going over to Nikiri.

[MissyLooni]

nikiri shudders and hums softly, "the kids... are on the roof....safe and sound."

Takana steps out and follows izanagi, sighing in relief when he see arakan. He sees nikiri in a pool of blood and winces, "Oh... oh god is he gonna make it?"
