Arakan shifts back and lifts a hand to his neck, " fucking things..." he looks up and sees Takana and Izanagi, " you did good. This is gonna hurt, but i need to seal that wound before you bleed out." he puts a hand on Nikiri's stomach and lets ice seal up the gaping hole.

Nikiri flinches slightly but otherwise says nothing, "im gonna be fine... the real trauma here is that fucker breaking off one of my antlers. I'll have to go to my dad so that he can gently shave down my other antler so that they can both grow back at roughly the same size... thanks for showing up when you did though."

Arakan snorts, " Izanagi nearly made me deaf screaming into my ear over the phone. you're an ass, but that doesn't mean im going to let you die. And you would be more worried about your antler than you would about the hole in your stomach idiot." he lifts a hand to his mouth, " ugh fuck, the hell was on that fuckers skin? feel like im gonna barf." he looks back up and holler to the other two, " come on down! it's safe." he pulls out a cell phone and arranges for medical transport for Nikiri.

Izanagi nods and starts heading down the fire escape. " did you see him? His other form is so cool, i've never seen it before!"

takana follows izanagi, "It was terrifying..."

Nikiri hums, "Apparently his skins makes toxins... as soon as he got me the first time I could tell i was fucked so i figured id just waste enough time for you to show up and for the other two to scram. and of course i care more about my antlers. they take a lot longer for me to grow out then this wound will take to heal."

Arakan snorts, " vain creature. i'll probably need to see about taking some anti-toxins then just in case. you'll live to annoy me another day i assure you."

Izanagi rolls his eyes, " why? it's still him even if it looks different. you're not scared of him, why be scared of him when he just looks different?"

Soon a vehicle pulls onto the street and a woman in a blue kimono with white hair steps out with a few other demons. Arakan goes over and bows to her, " mother. i had to freeze his wound, but he'll live i think. there was a toxin on the demons body, you may want to take the corpse with you to make sure you counter it for him."

She nods and directs the others in carefully placing Nikiri into the vehicle, and collecting the body as well, " and you? you are not harmed?"

Arakan shakes his head, " nah, stomach ache from biting him, but otherwise nothing. he was no match for me."

She pulls a bottle from her sleeve and shakes out a few pills, " here, these ought to help neutralize the toxins, but tell me if you're still experiencing symptoms, we don;t want it to get worse." she quickly gets into the vehicle and they drive off with Nikiri.

Arakan sighs and pops the pills dry, grimacing and shaking his head. He looks at the two, " well, lets get you two home before anything else happens. seems i'll need to keep an eye on you until i can find a replacement for Nikiri. i should have done it sooner but... things have been a bit busy."

Takana glances at izanagi, "its not the appearance but just the sheer power he has. and if anything terrifying was the wrong choice of words. I mean, yes terrifying but more of it in an impressive way." watches nikiri get wheeled away and frowns before looking at arakan, "Will he really be alright?"

[Namari]

Izanagi nods, " i guess i get that. humans like to pretend demons can't do half the things they can, especially higher ranked ones. and Arakan's about as strong as they get, soon anyway. knowing about it would freak the humans out i guess. i bet his neck hurts like a bitch though." he blinks, " well he ought to be, Arakan stopped the bleeding it looked like, and that was his mother. she's part of the healer team, and she's pretty skilled. Phoenixes tend to be pretty skilled healers as far as demons go. and Arakan has good control over his ice, so he'd avoid doing any extra damage. If a demon can get to healers and doesn't die outright in a fight, they usually survive. we're pretty hardy."

Takana nods, "Well... im glad... he did seem more concerned for his antlers instead of his wounds so that does put me a bit at ease."

When arakan says he's going to walk them home he walks over to arakan, ready to go

Arakan nods, " yeah, vain fucker. he'll live." He starts walking to their apartment.

Izanagi follows along, " well... im glad that creepy guy is dead at least."

Takana rubs his arm before looking at arakan, "Will we still have a curfew then? Or do you think there could be more?"

[Namari]

Arakan looks at Takana, " the curfew will stay in place for now. Information i got out of the one that caused trouble at the shop implies there will be more. why i don't know, but this is to protect lower rank demons who will be the most at risk. This is why i opposed Nikiri having C rank, he can't go toe to toe with a natural C rank."

takana blinks, "But its not just him. his whole family is a c rank, right?"

Arakan nods, " yeah. not my decision. but the rest of them seem to stay out of fights, so it's less my concern."

takana shrugs, "well he is the only older brother. i kinda get it."

[Namari]

Arakan sighs, " it makes my job more difficult however, since i have to bail his ass out when he gets in over his head."
