I was... lucky if you'd call it that. regardless, I am here and I..." he looks down at the table, the look of disappointment on his face, "My brother is the one who caused those men to come into your area. Koshi, my brother is a vile demon. He brags to his friends about how he plans to kill our own parents once he's the new leader, I have seen him have private conversations with human officials, and he considers any demon that is a D or E rank not worth the air they breathe."

He looks back at Arakan, "I mention this so you understand the kind of monster he is. a month ago he told mother and father that he wanted them out. to let him be the ruler immediately and that he had their power so he was done waiting. Father told him that the transfer of power wasnt complete until he had a wife. someone to officiate the line and carry on the next generation. at any point they could take back their power if he doesnt complete this part of the tradition so he better start looking if he wants to be the ruler. ...it was the first time Koshi was ever told no. and it wasnt even a real no, just a 'not yet' if anything. It... didnt sit well. He took his rage out on anyone he could, including me, and when I was finally able to venture out again I had found out that he had been sending out his goons to find a demon they felt worthy enough to carry his child. He knows Kiri and Zuu havent come back yet and are probably dead and since his other goons are accounted for I dont think you currently have anyone else in your district but I cant say for certain."

Arakan listens to the other with growing concern, not that he allowed it to show on his face. " if this is all true... this is indeed distressing. however im not inclined to take you at your word. But, since you seem to be familiar with 'his goons' as you say, and claim they are the cause of the attacks we've had, perhaps you can describe the two demons to me."

shiro perks up a bit, "oh yes! Zuu is kinda a boisterous asshole. always grabby and loud with his words. really arrogant and stupid but its Kiri that i have always been fearful of. he's blind and has insanely long, tattooed, arms. incredibly fast and his skin emits this weird... sludgey like toxin. His hearing is extraordinary and he emits a weird sulfur stench that can reach up to a few meters when he's hunting. A lot of people dont know this but that stench is for his nose. it covers everything like a blanket, wiping his surroundings clean until anything with a different smell moves, giving him a clear radar and thats how he hunts. That is how my brother sends out his men. in a pair of two. one who is loud and will keep eyes on them while the other takes care of the actual work and hopefully not get caught."

Arakan sighs, " well fuck. We have Zuu, he's alive. Kiri i killed myself."

"I am honestly surprised Zuu is even alive honestly. I figured he'd talk himself to an early death. I know it may not mean much coming from me but I am terribly and deeply sorry for what my brother has done. I hope he hasnt caused too much damage as it is."

Arakan snorts, " he wishes he was dead. he is lacking hands, courtesy of our antlerless wonder." he jerks his head at Nikiri, " and he's been most irritating. we've been trying to get information from him, however he's been mostly vulgar and annoying. there are some demons missing i suspect are dead at the hands of Kiri, and Zuu accosted one of our employees here, however did not get the chance to do much harm. now, what exactly do you hope to gain by coming here."

"Koshi has plans on increasing the size of his district once he's the leader and wants to make this world free of e and d rank demons. I also fear what will happen once he's leader considering his... relationship with the humans. I want him killed before he is able to solidify his position. I know full well you cant just do that but I was hoping for some assistance in coming up with a plan on stopping him since it is your district he is targeting."

Arakan looks at the other considerately, " if i can get proof he is indeed behind this, then i would consider it an attack against my district personally and be more than willing to challenge him over it. however i am not able to leave my district."

[MissyLooni]

Shiro perks, "I dont have any currently but I can always get some. Koshi is a talker and a bragger so i know he'll mention it if i bait him to. thankfully since my status is D rank at the moment I can easily pass through to the other districts freely. no human ever actually remembers anyone's name around here."

Arakan nods, " do that. once i have that proof we will consider how to move forward." he gets up, clearly dismissing the other demon.

Shiro nods, "if it makes you feel ay better, he does not have anyone else in your district at the moment. with his men missing and assumed dead to him he is waiting a couple of weeks before making another move knowing with only two demons he can play it off as them doing something on their own and not going through with an order, taking the heat off himself." he lowers his head a bit to arakan, showing respect towards the demon.

Arakan nods, " i suppose i can lift the curfew for the moment then. we've kept any lower rank demons inside at night to prevent incidents."

[MissyLooni]

"Please, enjoy the rest of your day. I will vacate once I am finished with this tea. It is quite lovely." shiro picks up his cup and continues sipping his tea

Arakan hums thoughtfully and makes his way to the table Nikiri is at, sitting and staring off at a window, deep in thought as he considers the situation and the ramifications of it. What a pain.

Izanagi builds up the courage to bring over a small teacake to go with Shiro's tea, " on the house. enjoy~"

shiro look at the cake and blinks, not being treated nicely ever in his life before he smiles, "oh!" he looks at izanagi, "That is awfully nice, thank you very much!"

Nikiri blinks when arakan comes over, "you uh.... you doing okay?"
