Yori makes an unhappy noise, " but your life IS in danger. these guys could kill you in a moment and you'd never have a chance to get out! what's so important you're willing to risk yourself for anyway?"

Takana sighs, "because I have been experiencing the complete opposite of what we were taught. I dont appreciate being lied to. A trait from my mother if you will."

[Namari]

Yori groans, " im not going to be able to convince you to leave until you've gotten things as you please, am i? you're gonna get yourself killed and my only brother is gonna be an asshole." he pouts.

[MissyLooni]

takana chuckles, "Yeah makoto honestly could suck a bag of dicks. no lie, he is like, 10 percent the reason why i dont want to go back."

[Namari]

Yori whines, " so don;t leave me alone with him! i need at least one decent relative."

[MissyLooni]

takana's ears lower slightly and he sighs, "I'm sorry. i know im being an ass about leaving but please trust me when i say i gotta stay. I promise i'll make it up to you."

Yori sighs, " fine... you're gonna give me white hair worrying about you."

takana snorts and gently nudges yori, "I think you'd look good with white hair~"

Yori gently shoves at him, " that's not the issue and you know it! besides,i don;t care what my hair looks like, it's not like im trying to impress anyone."

takana shrugs, "i think you worry too much. nothing is going to happen to me, i promise."

Yori sighs, " if you say so... but i just have a bad feeling you're in over your head. all the history books say how dangerous and aggressive demons are, especially high ranked ones. that's why we have guards making sure they don't go crazy. and the collars to keep them controlled."

[MissyLooni]

Takana huffs, "that is what we were told, yes, however I have seen things with my own eyes that counter that information." he keeps his voice low for the next sentence, "And i would like to remind you to keep these comments to yourself as long as you are in the same room with your own kind." He didnt want to have a harsh tone towards yori but damn it arakan was RIGHT in the living room!

[Namari]

Yori winces and his eyes dart towards where the other is sitting. He'd forgotten the demon was even there, he was so quiet." um, should we go in your room so we don;t uh, bother him?"

Arakan keeps his eyes on his phone, still pretending he wasn;t hearing all of it. Takana behaved as if demons were not his own kind, so it didn;t surprise him that his brother behaved similarly. it was something to note however.

[MissyLooni]

Takana sighs, "I suppose if it helps get your thoughts out but remember you promised me to be on your best behavior in the cafe so once you're in there you cant keep saying this stuff out loud."

Yori nods, " you'll probably be too busy working to pay me much mind anyway."
