Topic: To Cross That Line (Namari x Missylooni)

[Namari]

Yori's eyes narrow but he doesn't respond. he was tired of being treated like a kid, and he wasn't about to let Takana boss him around like everyone else did. he couldn't stop him if he wanted to move here, and he wasn't going to leave Takana here alone. He jsut sits silently, not continuing the argument.

[MissyLooni]

Takana sighs when yori doesnt talk back and his ears droop, "Thank you. I hate having to act like the bad guy but I just dont think you'd take to their weird laws. Hell even im not getting the hang of it but I just need to worry about me so its fine. but if you were here then i'd be stressed the fuck out especially since nikiri isnt babysitting me anymore."

[Namari]

Yori looks away, " you don;t need to worry. i can take care of myself. i've had to deal with everything after you left so i've got it under control."

[MissyLooni]

Takana sighs, "this is nothing like being home though...E rank demons are basically at the bottom of the food chain here. this isnt a place where if you want to respect someone they need to respect you first thing. if a demon of a higher rank tells you what to do you do it and thats that. whether its for your own good or not, or if they have a nasty attitude about it you cant just tell them to fuck off and eat shit like when your mom tells me to do something or makoto with you. Or even me right now, telling you not to live here. If arakan came in here right now and demanded that I did 100 sit ups I'd HAVE to do it. He wont, because he's not a dick as long as he's not in the public eye, but he's a high rank and no one would bat an eye for him to demand something unreasonable."

[Namari]

Yori blinks, " that's not right. why would you want to stay here if you have to do whatever that guy says? no wonder they keep them locked away..."

[MissyLooni]

takana gives an exasperated sigh, "because the higher rank you are the stronger you are so for them this is normal. and this district isnt so bad because they dont really abuse that whole rank thing. they think its weird that we would just respect someone for no reason. and he only really ordered me around one time and that was to make sure I was safe. other than that he just makes sure we're all safe. we had a scare of a demon from a different district being here illegally and he was so concerned about us that he's been walking us home, and THEN staying up all night patrolling to catch them."

[Namari]

Yori blinks, " i thought you said it was safe? it's weird that they just let a few people boss them around, though i guess if they're the strongest that kind of makes sense. So that guy in the living room, is that the Arakan guy? so is he really high rank or something?"

[MissyLooni]

Takana nods, "apparently a demon just coming into their district without permission is rare which is why arakan took it so seriously,  otherwise yeah they place is typically safe. And uh...well.... arakans dad is like, the leader of this district. So... i guess... eventually arakan will be the leader as well."

[Namari]

Yori's eyes widen, " so....that guy sitting out in the living room, is pretty much like one of the strongest demons in the district? and he can just order us to do whatever and that's okay with you?"

[MissyLooni]

Takana shrugs, "he hasnt really abused that power so as for now, yeah. "

[Namari]

Yori frowns and sighs, " that's... a lot to digest."

[MissyLooni]

Takana sighs, "he's been nice to me so it hasnt been as bad as you think. Ah but i know its only because he thinks im a demon."

[Namari]

Yori hums, " well as long as he thinks the same of me i should be fine. i've always been less likely to get people pissed off at me than you." he grins.

[MissyLooni]

Takana pouts, "well as long as you don't say that stuff out loud then you should be fine. Oh and your last name is Kuro. We cant mention our full last name for obvious reasons."

[Namari]

Yori blinks and nods, " well yeah, and alright. i guess that makes sense."
