Arakan chuckles, " can do. good thing he's going to be well occupied tonight, he'll give you a break after Nikiri has worn him out." he changes direction and starts heading towards an area of the district that's new.

Takana reaches over to yori's hand, gently holding it as he follows arakan

[Namari]

Yori gladly takes Takana's hand and squeezes it gently.

Soon they arrive at a large building, huge and well made by the standards here, but would look somewhat run down in a rich neighborhood outside of the district. Arakan heads in and gestures to a few couches in a room off the entryway, " i'll be right back."

A woman in a blue and white kimono walks over, smiling at Arakan, " oh? guests?" she looks at Yori and Takana and blinks before carefully schooling her expression.

Arakan kisses her on the cheek, " just for a moment mother, we'll be leaving in a bit. excuse me." he leaves.

She waits until he's gone before going closer, " now, im going to assume one of you is the one that has my boys in such a tizzy. And im also going to assume that neither of them has any idea of your... true nature hm? Don't worry, i'll keep it to myself, unless you threaten our home or my family."

Takana's eyes widen at the very beautiful and intimidating woman before his ears twitch and quickly flatten back against his head as he considers her words very carefully. She knew they were human but wasnt going to say anything? For now at least which was... relieving. He wasnt here to purposefully cause harm to the family of course. Although he wasnt sure about the first thing she mentioned, "um... t-tizzy, ma'am? Im afraid i dont understand what you mean..."

[Namari]

She hums, " you don;t need to look as if im about to eat you, so long as you're not here to make trouble, i could be a great ally. As for that...i know my husband is worried about some potential demon breeding experiment that involved you, and has a watch on you. My son has taken his concern personally and has been spending a great deal of time ensuring your safety. now, i wouldn;t put it past them to be doing such a thing, so looking into it does little harm, but i do hate to see my boys so stressed. not to mention this thing with those demons from our neighbors. what a boorish little brat they have to behave such a way." she waves a hand, " regardless, im glad i met you, something seemed off, i just didn't know what until i saw you."

Takana gives a hesitant nod, "I dont wish to cause any trouble, or... at least anymore than I probably already have. Im sorry to cause them stress, i try my best to make sure arakan is still taking care of his health in the small ways that i can. i felt bad that he was constantly on patrol when he was looking for anymore demons from the other district."

[Namari]

She nods, " well he was doing as he ought, he'll be a good leader some day. you just stay out of trouble and you can come to me if you need anything. im one of the heads of medical here so you can make up an excuse if need be." she lifts a finger to her lips and a minute later Arakan walks over with a dufflebag stuffed full.

" alright, a bedroll and some other stuff. take care mother." he places a kiss on her cheek before heading for the door.

She smiles, " take care of yourself!"

takana blinks when she had put a finger to her lips but he doesnt say anything until arakan shows up. he turns to follow arakan glancing back at her and mouths a silent, 'thank you'

She gives him a serene smile and waves with her fingers, amused.

Yori follows after, not really getting all that just happened.

Takana hums as he looks up at arakan,  "have you had pizza before arakan? Homemade? "

" pizza yes, homemade, no." he glances at Takana, " i presume you are implying that is also something you make?"

[MissyLooni]

Takana nods, "of course. Im thinking some pizza and a movie sounds good tonight. I have a few lenses and wires in my toolbox so i could make a projector and connect it  to my laptop and aim it at the big blank wall in the living room and since it has its hotspot already we can watch whatever is on the internet. I think that is the best way to end tonight, dontcha think?"

Arakan blinks and nods, " interesting. do we need to stop by the shops for you to get supplies?"

Takana hums, "well, we have everything for a basic cheese pizza so i guess it depends if you want something specific."

Arakan waves a hand dismissively, " im good with whatever. "
