Takana shrugs, "you could have woken me up and told me to move. But you didnt. It was kind of nice honestly." He chuckles, "and im sorry for passing out. I didnt realize i was so exhausted. Anyway, i'm gonna start getting breakfast going."

[Namari]

Arakan shrugs, " why bother when moving you was just as easy? you're light. don't be sorry, i did not mind." he goes to the bathroom and freshens up before going out and sitting at the table.

Takana goes to the kitchen and starts making pancakes

Arakan sighs softly as he looks over his phone, " i'll have to get Kaiten to watch you today while you're at work, i have some things to take care of."

takana glances and nods, "Alright. after breakfast I'll need to make sure yori gets back through the gate okay."

[Namari]

Arakan nods, " i can go with to see that everything goes smoothly, but then i'll need to drop you off. i'll have Kaiten meet us at the cafe."

takana nods, "alright sounds good. do you want any coffee at all? sounds like you might have an annoying day."

[Namari]

Arakan nods, " it would be appreciated. it's less of a particularly annoying day and more of i've been shirking my other duties too long, and father's had enough of it."

[MissyLooni]

Takana winces, "is it my fault? I know you've been by me a lot..."

[Namari]

Arakan glances up at him, " if anyone is to blame it's the humans who wanted to use you. i would have been doing night patrols regardless with those demons in my district. and likely i would have a guard on the cafe as well, though it probably would not be myself. i will probably need to have Kaiten keep an eye on things at the cafe during the day more often, he's a capable young demon."

takana sighs and his ears flick back. he wished arakan didnt constantly think it was always a humans fault for everything bad going on. sure the ones he has to deal with have a power trip but... not all humans are like that... he just wished he could prove that somehow without putting himself in danger.
He pours some coffee into a mug and hands it to arakan before going back to making pancakes, albeit his mood was slightly sour now

Arakan frowns as he notes the others mood change, taking the coffee, " sorry if my reminding you of it upset you. i'll try to remember not to. but this isn't your fault."

takana sighs, "I just....you dealing with me isnt the humans fault. is it their fault i was kicked out? Yeah sure but, like, i chose to come here on a whim. I could have ended up anywhere else but Im here by my own choice so i just dont feel like they're to specifically to blame. If i went to another district you would never have known of my existence."

[Namari]

Arakan growls, " it is their fault you were not here to begin with. you belong in one of the districts. had you gone to another district besides ours you would likely be dead, since Nikiri stepped in and defended you. had you been raised among your own you'd know our ways."

takana's ears twitch again and he snarls under his breath, doing his best to not lash out, "i still do not 'know' your ways. im only pretending when im in public since it seems it doesnt get me killed but I hate them and I hate this whole thing that i have gotten myself into. I'm starting to regret ever coming here." he angrily flips the last pancake onto a plate that he was piling them onto before turning off the stove and tossing the pan into the sink, making a clattering sound, "Have your damn pancakes. " he heads to his room with the intention of waking his brother and getting him out of the demon district
