Once arakans out of the room takana sighs and looks down, his ears lowering, "coming in without knocking..."

Yori pokes at his pancakes, " i guess i would too if it sounded like you were in danger..."

[MissyLooni]

Takana sighs, feeling flustered, "I just- I'm with you. Why would I be in danger? You're the only one I trust completely after all."

[Namari]

Yori shrugs, " he doesn;t know me though."

[MissyLooni]

"But he knows we're siblings, and that should mean something. And why are you even defending him?"

[Namari]

Yori blinks, " Makoto is my sibling and he's shit. so blood relation is irrelevant. And im just pointing it out since it's a valid point. I don;t know what issue you have, but it seems like he does a lot of things he doesn;t have to to make sure you're safe and comfortable despite...you know."

[MissyLooni]

Takana huffs, "he does it because he thinks I'm like them. He's not like nikiri or izanagi who know the truth. Trust me, the second he finds out is the day I'll probably need a grave."

[Namari]

Yori frowns, " thought you said it wasn't that dangerous? I dunno, things just seem off. why so nice to him last night and now you seem mad? I'd want to treat him nice if i wanted him to...i dunno, not kill me if he found out something less than ideal about myself?"

Takana sighs, "he... has a very skewed perception on humans from how he was treated so he tends to say some very hurtful things about them and I get... upset. Like this morning. So I am upset that he said some things."

[Namari]

Yori blinks and considers that for a minute, " kind of like you got upset at me for saying thing about demons? is it fair to get mad at him when all he sees is what's here? It's not like he can go and see humans without bias, he can't even leave right? i mean, it'd be scary for someone like him to just be able to go out freely, but i guess i can see where he'd be frustrated never being able to leave..." he frowns as he looks down, " are they really treated that bad here? i've always been told they like it here and are happy to stay in the district, even the ones that aren't allowed to leave."

[MissyLooni]

Takana sighs, "they are treated horribly. God forbid you're here at the next inspection. "

[Namari]

Yori tilts his head, " then is it really fair to get mad at him for having a bad opinion if that's all he sees?"

[MissyLooni]

Takana turns red and sighs, "I mean no but... it still hurts. And at any rate when I was trying to sympathize with this place you ended up thinking something was wrong with me. Now, you're the one rationalizing the situation."

[Namari]

Yori huffs, " well im trying to understand! i still don;t totally get it, but i can see why he'd think badly of humans if all he saw and heard was bad things. just like you're telling me im wrong about all the bad things they tell us about demons."

Takana sighs and rubs his arm, "ugh. This whole thing is so complicated. I don't mean to get so snappy. I'm just constantly on edge."
