Takana nods, "well, you won't see me volunteering any time soon. I may act like I have a death wish sometimes but I assure you I won't be going anywhere near that district if I can help it."

[Namari]

Arakan snorts softly, " i would forbid it. you can hardly keep me from wanting to kill you sometimes and i know your background. i doubt another district, especially that one, would be as generous."

[MissyLooni]

takana shrugs, "That district is known for favoring humans, I would probably fit in more there than here, however im not dumb enough to step foot into that place."

[Namari]

Arakan raises an eyebrow, " but you are not human. you're an e rank demon, the type he wishes to do away with."

[MissyLooni]

Takana shrugs, "Hide my ears and my collar and I act the part of a human quite well. Not that thats possible regardless, im just saying if it werent for the only two main giveaways on my body no one would question if i said i was human. I even know just the human history and customs so if i was quizzed I would give right answers."

Arakan nods, " to most demons yes that would be enough. there are those who are not so easily fooled however. my mother for example, as a phoenix she can see the flow of life in ones body, and can tell at a glance what you are. there aren't many of them around, but there are other species with abilities that would make it impossible for you to lie about your true nature."

[MissyLooni]

takana sighs and shakes his head, "Yes well all this talk is nice but unnecessary since I already stated that I wont be going to the district."

[Namari]

Arakan nods, " true." he looks down at his phone, since that was the topic of their conversation and now he didn;t really have anything to say.

[MissyLooni]

he slightly feels bad for ending the conversation so abrupt but he was starting to feel frustrated again and it would have just gone in circles until he said something he would really regret. he didnt want to have an argument with arakan, least of all right before work.
Maybe he should have more coffee... he needed to find a way to focus.

Arakan sighs softly as he reads on his phone, frowning slightly.

Takana pours another cup of coffee, pounding it quickly as he tries to ignore his thoughts

Arakan glances over, " you're drinking a lot of coffee this morning, did you not sleep well?"

[MissyLooni]

Takana glances at arakan, "I slept okay I guess. I suppose the same amount of sleep that I normally get here."

[Namari]

Arakan frowns, " and yet you need that much coffee? we need to figure out why you're not sleeping well, it will effect your work and health."

[MissyLooni]

takana shrugs, "I mean, would you sleep well if you found yourself in my position? at the very least getting back to a routine where I feel okay enough to sleep would take more than two weeks."
