takana nods and opens up the next audio file.

"Zuu, and kiri have not come back yet mother... I can only assume that their mission was a failure. A shame really. I had enjoyed.... well... I tolerated Kiri's presence. Im thankful Zuu is out of the picture though. I assigned him to the girl in hopes that he would fail just to get him out of my sight. "

"Zuu was useless but its a shame to lose Kiri. What about the other one? Have you sent Persefoni out yet? I would like to not lose her if at all possible"

"No she is still in our district. I wont send her out until things have calmed down. She is too useful to lose."

"You know Koshi, sweetie.... Have you... thought about maybe finding someone here? It would be easier and we wouldnt be messing with so many other districts."

You can hear snarling through the mic, "Mother, I have already TOLD you why I wasnt going to look for a mate in this shit hole. Now, leave me be to think. I'll be contacting persefoni soon and I'm feeling like im in a good mood today so I might go easy on the punching bag."

"A-apologies dear, I just worry-"

"Well dont. By the time any heat hit this district you and father will be gutted like a fish by my hands so it wont be your problem. Do I make myself clear?"

"Yes dear. I look forward to the day." her voice was low and sounded tired.

The recording stops.

Takana blinks and frowns, "So... there's a third one still?"

Arakan nods, " play it. looks like we have another coming soon to deal with..."

[MissyLooni]

Takana frowns, "Yeah and it sounds like she is going to be in a whole 'nother league..." His ears droop as he feels uncomfortable about the whole thing, "Im... going to go use the restroom. feel free to just  keep double clicking on the files. they'll play automatically." he gets up and goes to the bathroom, shutting the door

Arakan nods, " alright. even if this other person does come, i don't doubt i can match them. and should i somehow fail, my father though he dislikes dealing with things these days, still is extremely powerful." he double clicks on the last recording.

[MissyLooni]

"we were supposed to have a visit from a guard working for the company who was smuggling some collar removers. He never showed. I want an explanation. now."

"Yes sir. it would seem as though the family is having an internal struggle that has caused a shift with the guards to follow a new schedule so he could not meet at the original time. "

"...an internal struggle? I see... do you know what has happened?"

"no sir. we're waiting to hear from the guard to figure out what is going on."

"Damn it...as soon as you get any news let me know. Im going to try and get into contact with Chi and then Persefoni"

Arakan growls softly, " he's going to be getting collar removers? that's bad. there's some problems with the family... is that the Kuroshibas? hm..." he sits back and looks at the computer, trying to make everything click into place and failing. " damn, just more issues to deal with. i think i can expect a visit from this Persefoni soon though." he ejects the flash drive and tucks it away, this he'd have to put someplace safe.

After a few minutes Takana feels a little better about the wave of information they got and sighs softly. he stares at his reflection in the mirror and frowns as he glances at the fake ears on his head.
With arakan and kaiten watching him all this time it has been impossible to take these things off and he half wondered if that was a good thing. He had more than one friend in the past needing surgery to remove contact lenses that they either forgot was even there or getting new ones or glasses was too expensive so keeping on old lenses was the affordable move for them. This thing IS connected to his head after all...
He looked down and huffed softly, deciding next time he saw nikiri he would try to talk to the deer about it.
He exits the bathroom and goes back over to arakan, "all done?"

Arakan nods absently, frowning as he thinks. He looks over, " you have some ties to the kuroshiba family yes? since you know this Isabella woman. Are there any... internal struggles or issues you're aware of?"

[MissyLooni]

Takana blinks and frowns, "internal? Like, the family having problems? There certainly weren't any before i got here so im not sure."

[Namari]

Arakan nods, " alright. have you heard from the woman?"

[MissyLooni]

"Isabelle? Let me check." He pulls out his phone and hums softly,  "she gave the pitch to her husband and is waiting to hear his response. She doesn't want to pressure him for an answer in case it pisses him off enough to say no. Maybe... her asking him caused the problem in the family?"

Arakan sighs, " i suppose it's possible, though the timing is a bit close. i wonder... do these say when the recording was taken?"

[MissyLooni]

"Oh yeah if you right click on the file and click properties on the drop down that shows up it will show when it was taken."

Arakan takes out the flash drive and puts it back in, copying the instructions to see when the last recording was taken.

Takana peaks over to look at the screen and hums, "this was taken just yesterday in the morning."
