Arakan slowly gets up and yawns, running a hand through his hair and shaking his head. He had too much on his mind these days, he was sleeping like shit.

Takana glances at Arakan and inwardly sighs before pouring a large cup of coffee for the demon, "Coffee is ready."

[Namari]

Arakan gets up and goes over, touching the cup and a crackling sound is heard as he cools it enough to drink, and downs the cup. He sets the empty cup down and shakes his head, " there's so much shit going on these days..." he sighs and nods, " thanks." he goes back over to the couch and sits, looking at his phone.

Takana hums softly to acknowledge Arakan's thanks as he continues cooking. he feels his phone vibrate and he frowns, knowing yori wouldnt be up at this hour he hesitantly checks it to see its from Curtis. he blinks and furrows his brows before turning to look at arakan, "hey quick question?"

Arakan glances up, " yes?"

takana scratches at his head and sighs, "Curtis just texted me saying he caught wind of your monthly inspection being a 'surprise' inspection, whatever that means. Does that you guys wont be getting an announcement about it?"

[Namari]

Arakans head jerks to look at him, " well seeing as i haven't the confirmation on when it'll be, i presume that is probably the case. fucking humans, as if we don;t have to do enough to try and make sure all our people are safe." he snarls and runs a hand through his hair. " but when will it be? i always try and give people a few days notice so they can get their collars checked the day before. this is bad." he starts pacing, " fuck...i need to make some calls." he pulls his phone out and quickly tells his father.

Takana goes back to his phone, do you know when it will be?

Commander told me it will be in 4 days. i hope that is enough time for you to leave, im so sorry I was only just told ten minutes ago. i dont want you there when they have an inspection.

hahahahaha jokes on you i have already was in one and i ended up fine. besides im not about to leave just because of the inspection. thats not fair.

Takana looks up and over at Arakan, "Curtis said its in four days. He would have informed us earlier but he just found out 10 minutes ago from his boss."

[Namari]

Arakan nods, " well, i don't think it's wise for me to announce it over the loudspeakers as usual, the humans might hear and change it. we need to do this the hard way." he calls up Nikiri, " the humans are having a surprise inspection in 4 days, we need to tell the entire district without using the speaker system. i need your family to help me get this done."

[MissyLooni]

Nikiri had answered the phone in the middle of breakfast and nearly chokes on his food, "are you shitting me? god damn it. Alright, i'll tell mom to round up the girls. do you want me to send my father to see your dad?"

Arakan sighs, " i've already told him there would be a surprise inspection, i found out when after. it's probably a good idea. why the hell are they pulling this shit... it doesn;t matter, we need to get this sorted."

nikiri groans and gets up, "alright, well, the sooner i hang up on you the faster i can send messages to my family. text me any updates you get okay?"

Arakan nods, " of course." he hangs up and rubs his temples, feeling a headache coming on. " four days... four days to inform everyone in the district without the humans getting wind of it. because being the sadistic fucks they are they'll probably change the inspection date if they find out we know."

takana is quiet for a bit as he nervously glances at arakan. his ears lower and he nervously goes back to cooking, not sure what to do or if there is anything he can do.

Arakan sighs softly, and starts making more phone calls, recruiting more high ranked demons he trusts to start informing the district that they'd need to get their collars checked in 3 days. " i'll need to have the shop owners let their employees get checked the day before..."
