takana's eyes widen and he quickly darts to the kitchen to look at the now half cooked, ruined breakfast. his ears droop a little before he shakes his head, "It may have been a waste of food but....it was for a good reason. we have a way to discreetly help your citizens so its not a total loss."

Arakan nods, " indeed. it was for a very worthy cause." he grabs his phone and sends a text for someone to pick up something for them and bring it over. " Indigo will be by shortly with something for us. probably not as good as what you were making, but it will suffice. and it's not from my own chef, so it'll be palatable." he looks over with a grin.

takana blushes slightly at that last remark, "i mean, its not that it wasnt palatable its just- its what i would call a culture shock. i get it ya know? "

Arakan chuckles softly, " liver is the least offensive of organ meats we get as well. stomach, kidney, lungs, heart, all of these are common. my family gets mostly liver because of it's high vitamin content, so it is logical that we get what will keep us in the best shape."

Takana shudders,  "alright those other organs are a little too much for me. At least I know humans also eat liver."

Arakan shrugs, " i know the heart is good dense meat, and i have had soup with kidneys and tongue. not too bad, but then i grew up with it."

Takana sighs, "Yeah I grew up on caviar soo....this is kinda on the opposite spectrum of consumables."

[Namari]

Arakan blinks and shrugs, " well, i guess fish eggs isn't that different if you think about it."

[MissyLooni]

Takana sighs, "Yeah but caviar is like, right person food. And I had it served on a silver platter. And on days when I was exhausted I could legit have it spoon fed to me. That or Gelato. Oh but I also loved eating Turkish delights too."

Arakan blinks slightly, " wow. yeah that's... a lot different from here."

Takana nods, "I told you my life is entirely different to this place."

[Namari]

Arakan nods, " well, i doubt that will ever be something that will happen for anyone here." he checks his phone when it dings, " ah, indigo is here. i'll be right back." he heads out to meet the Alicanto at the front of the building, leading him inside. Indigo looks around curiously as he hands over a bag, then blinks and sniffs the air. " i smell... gold?"

Arakan sets the bag on the table and blinks, " ah, yes. it's a fancy pillow. please don;t eat it."

Indigo swallows and shakes his head, " as tempting as it is, i have more self control than that. i will however take my leave, having such a delicacy near enough to smell will be quite tortuous."

Takana watches indigo, before nodding in understanding, "probably a good thing a lot of my items aren't here, "he gives a dry chuckle

Indigo looks over, " well if you had that much gold around it'd be cruel of you not to offer a guest a little taste then." he grins. " well enjoy breakfast. im going to see if i can sneak out to the dump and find some copper to take the edge off my metal hunger." he heads out of the apartment.

Arakan hums, " probably best if we not bring him here. i'll keep that in mind." he opens the bag and pulls out a few containers, opening them to expose some less than fluffy pancakes and eggs.

takana watches him leave before chuckling, "I better keep my eye on my laptop if he comes back. my laptop itself has about five pounds of copper in it."
