Takana chuckles,  "maybe diamonds are less tempting because they're actually a very common rock and humans only made them more expensive by controlling the mining business. Personally I don't really care for jewelry."

Arakan nods, " exactly. they're mostly carbon anyway, and that's easy enough to get."

Takana hums, "good to know. I wonder if that affects all diamonds or just the white ones. I know the kuroshiba family has the pink star diamon ring and that took a hefty chunk of money but I'm not sure if it's really all that rare."

[Namari]

Arakan hums softly, " the amount of minerals that change the colors is very small, so it's barely worth noting.

[MissyLooni]

takana nods, "i see. i suppose the monetary value doesnt come from the material itself. " he glances at the time and hums softly before getting up, "ah gotta get going for work."

Arakan nods, " indeed."

Izanagi flounces out with his bag.

takana gets his bag and heads for the door, "Im hoping for a normal day today. at least normal for work."

Arakan nods, " hopefully. though with how crazy things are lately i won;t be holding my breath."

Takana waits for izanagi and arakan before making his way to work, humming, "its a nice day too so keeping the shenanigans to a minimum would be great."

Izanagi sticks his tongue out, " speak for yourself. this is a beautiful day for shenanigans. especially of the sexy sort."

Takana snorts, "I wasnt talking about YOUR type of shenanigans. I was actually talking about life or death type shit."

"oh my god... okay just for that comment, also a no to your shenanigans." he chuckles shaking his head before heading inside the cafe to quickly get ready

Arakan gets settled at a table, looking at his phone.

takana gets changed and starts working in the kitchen.

Hikari finishes getting the coffee and tea going and prepped

mina is bouncing about happily waiting for the cafe to officially open
