Topic: To Cross That Line (Namari x Missylooni)

[Namari]

Arakan blinks, " ah, thanks. it's fine, one day without eating isn't the end of the world. i can catch up on calories tomorrow. thanks though." he takes the toast and takes a bite, " be careful today." he quickly heads out, if he hurried he could still get everyone checked.

Kaiten sees the ice demon run by him as he heads in, knocking gently before stepping into the apartment.

Takana watches arakan run off, only snapping out of it when he hears kaiten enter,  "um. Morning. "

[Namari]

Kaiten nods, " morning. you are concerned?"

[MissyLooni]

Takana nods,  "of course. This is serious stuff after all. "

[Namari]

Kaiten nods, " you need to trust him, he will do all he can to ensure the safety of all of his people. He is strong, he will be alright."

[MissyLooni]

takana sighs, "Yeah but there is too much being piled on him at once and the poor man needs a break. And just because he is strong doesnt mean he should go without. A dam is pretty strong too but if you dont check on the dam and fix any cracks or leaks then its only a matter of time before the millions of tons of water it holds back becomes too much."

[Namari]

Kaiten nods, " true, but if a dam is weak it's broken down and rebuilt. In order to be a good leader he needs to be able to handle the strongest raging waters, even during floods. I know you're not used to our ways, but he's been raised to handle this sort of pressure. he'll be alright."

[MissyLooni]

Takana sighs, "Yeah but that doesn't mean he should do this alone. I want him to know that we have his back too. I just wish I knew how I could help him without getting in his way."

[Namari]

" having people to protect is what gives him strength. he's not alone, he has the entire district standing behind him. i know it's hard to understand." Kaiten sits on the couch.

[MissyLooni]

Takana sighs, "it IS hard to understand. I was raised very differently and that unfortunately makes me a nuisance."

[Namari]

Kaiten grunts, " i suppose that's one way to look at it. but your new perspectives have also been helpful. so it's worth the trouble to keep you."

[MissyLooni]

Takana's ears flatten and he sighs,  "sure I guess..."

Kaiten chuckles, " you'll learn."

[MissyLooni]

Takana plates up some french toast and frowns, "I mean.... I'll do my best to learn what i can but i dont plan on living here forever. I need to get to my brother safely."

Kaiten raises an eyebrow, " interesting."
