Isabelle nods, "are there more interesting shops? If not we can always take care of the gardens since they will benefit everyone."

[Namari]

Arakan looks at her thoughtfully, " since you were not bothered by the Naga, perhaps a Spidren will not bother you either. He is fantastic at crafting clothing and anything else from his silk."

Isabelle nods, "if I was afraid of snakes and spiders I wouldn't be a gardener."

[Namari]

Arakan nods, " very well, we will visit Karim's shop." he leads the way to a building that's clearly been patched up as well as it can be, with gorgeous elegant suits and dresses adorning the display windows.

Isaballe sees the dresses and hums, "Ah. Fashionable clothes i see."

[Namari]

Arakan nods, " yes, he is... eccentric." he opens the door and steps into the shop. Most of the clothing and items are around the edges, with most of the area in the middle being open. an open double door leads out the back and a bell rings as they go into the shop.

"One moment!" A voice echos from the double doors, and after a minute Karim comes through that double door, making it obvious why such a large opening is needed. He's removing some very stained rubber gloves and hangs them outside before coming in. " Ah, the ice prince himself, and guests. Welcome to my shop." he looks at Takana and Isabelle, " well now, if it isn't the pink haired upstart from the inspection. And a human? I had heard something about one coming to the district... but i don;t usually put much stock in rumors." he looks her over a little more carefully, stepping closer on delicate clawed feet. " at least someone dresses well, i must commend your sense of style. How may i help you?"

Takana blinks and frowns, " 'upstart'?"

Isabelle looks up at Karim and smiles, "Good Morning. My name is Isabelle and i am here to try to help stimulate this districts economy by enticing other humans to spend their money here. I am not asking for free items though, i will be paying for anything that i like."

[Namari]

Karim glances at Takana, " yes, standing up to the humans was foolish. bold, but foolish. commendable, but... not very bright." he looks at Isabelle, " hm... well i want to show off my items in the best possible way. if you can convince any humans to come, any investment into you will be well worth it." he glances around the shop, moving away from them as he looks things over. After a few minutes he pulls out a scarf with multiple shades of blue fading into each other, mottled along the length with a subtle shimmer. " this looks like it will match your outfit quite well. consider it a gift to encourage the promotion of my shop." he holds it out to Isabelle. " all the items here are made by myself, woven from my silk, dyed with what ingredients i can obtain."

Isabelle blinks and takes the scarf, "Oh my. its quite lovely. Are you sure you want to give it to me as a gift?"

Takana huffs and looks away, muttering some nonsense about keeping a promise

He nods, " yes, it's a sample of my work, and it's it's lovely, then all the more likely to catch someone elses eye who may want one as well. poor quality items are bad for promoting. not that i'd consider anything of mine poor quality. Regardless, it's yours. and it looks like it will look good on you, so all the better. Spidren silk is not only smooth and soft, but extremely durable and strong. you could use that to lift a car with no tears or fraying."

Isabelle gives Karim a kind smile, "Thank you very much." she wraps the scarf around her neck, "Now, if you could please show me around your store, i would love to make some purchases."

[Namari]

He nods and moves over to some of the womens outfits, " i have a variety of premade outfits, dresses, gowns, suits, as well as regular more casual clothing. shirts pants and skirts.  they do tend towards being larger, but that's because it's far easier for me to alter it to be smaller than it is to make it larger, and to fit it to your frame for a perfect fit will only take me a few minutes. i can make custom clothing as well, though that does take me longer especially if i don't have the color of silk you want already dyed. i can have most things made within a few days though."

Isabelle nods as she listens intently, that is until she spots an adorable pink outfit that she pulls off the rack, her neck damn near snapping as she looks at Takana.

Takana blinks and shivers, "that look. I hate that look on your face."

Karim raises an eyebrow and glances at the two, " yes, it's a cute outfit. you may try it on if you wish?"

Isabelle holds it up to Takana, making sure to still treat it gently, "Takana, i think this would look adorable on you. please consider we-"

"-I will not." takana musters this response with as much malice as he can

"wha- but you used to wear cute things all the time, and sing! you were so amazing at singing i thought you'd end up an idol!"

Takana scoffs, "girls are idols. I am a man thank you very much. I do manly things. I do not dress up."
