Arakan gets up and goes to the bathroom to freshen up before changing into new clothes, " close enough." he grabs a scrub brush and sits at the table, scrubbing his horns clean.

Takana glances back at arakan, "coffee?"

[Namari]

Arakan gives his horn a last scrub and wipes them down with a wet rag, " sure, that'd be great."

[MissyLooni]

Takana nods and starts the coffee pot, "oh that reminds me. Isabelle left some cash for me in the couch cushions so I couldn't find it until after she left therefore being unable to decline the money. I personally don't need all of it, I already kept a little for emergencies but other than that I don't want to have this much money on me so I wanted to give it to you. I know you'll know what to do with it or who might need help. Maybe hold on to it and let your people know that if there is a dead collar that someone can't afford to replace that money can be used for it or something."

Arakan raises an eyebrow, " that's very generous. my family finds ways to fund collars for those who can't afford it, there are materials we as the lead family have control over selling to the kuroshiba company, such as caladrius bird tears. there are others, but we do have a fund set aside for things like that and we do use it. if you wish to donate to our fund for emergency use though i will not say no. to be honest, usually we can only afford the lowest end collars in such cases."

Takana nods and sets some pancakes and coffee in front of arakan,  "let me grab it then." He goes to his room and shuffles some shit around until he finds the envelope, "ah,  there it is."
He goes back to arakan and hands it to him,  "here."

Arakan takes it and solemnly tucks it into an inner pocket in his shirt. " it's appreciated. that'll reduce the amount of things we need to sell to that damn company. i'd rather not sell that sort of thing to them at all, who knows how they abuse it, but it's the only thing they'll buy for enough to even come close to getting enough to be able to afford the collars..."

takana flinches a little when arakan says 'damn' company, "ah... y-yeah.... thats understandable."

[Namari]

Arakan sighs, " regardless, hopefully we can start bringing in enough funds that it won't be necessary to do business with them any further. ideally anyway."

[MissyLooni]

Takana sets a plate of pancakes in izanagi's usual spot, "um okay. Well you enjoy your food and coffee. I'm going to go wake up nagi..."

He goes to izanagi's room and gently pushes on his arm, "oi. Pancakes on the table."

Arakan blinks, frowning. Why did he seem bothered by references to that company?

Izanagi opens the door, wearing Nikiri's Kimono and rubbing his eyes, " already? okay." he yawns and walks to the table, plopping down and starting to eat.

Arakan sighs softly and eats his own meal.

Takana gets a cup of coffee for himself and leans against the counter, quietly blowing on it and sipping, "it is a bit earlier than when I normally wake you so feel free to take a nap or something after. I just wanted to make sure you got some food in you before I head out."

Izanagi nods, " 'kay" he stuffs a large chunk of pancake in his mouth, chewing happily.

Arakan eats more politely, steadily working his way through his portion.

Takana hears his phone go off and he looks at it before humming softly and looking at arakan, "Isabelle says that the next shipment that is scheduled for this district will have some dirt for the gardens and to bring some muscle cuz it's a lot of dirt."

[Namari]

Arakan glances over, " that'll be excellent. i'll make arrangements. one thing that i can provide a lot of is muscle." he chuckles softly and finishes his plate and gets up, taking it to the sink to wash it.

Izanagi finishes his and is scraping the last of the maple syrup off the plate with his fork.
