Touhou shakes his head, no he doesnt control it. He cant demand it to gwt him ice tea. The contract states that as long as he can protect hia domain, his domain will protect him. If he cannot protect his domain then the domain will protect the next strongest kin.... so... since your father has been weakening and being more dependent on the misery of others to keep him alive he must have been weak enough that the house briefly went to protect the next strongest creature. However if corrin goes to... 'collect' more misery he will be stronger again and as the contract states it will protect him again.

Takana blinks, "that must be why the house told us to leave. It didn't want to be back under dads control and attack us."

Touhou nods

[Namari]

Yori frowns, " wait, the next strongest of kin? But that monster thing is way stronger than either me or Takana. So...why did it protect me? I'm just... normal."

[MissyLooni]

Touhou frowns and let's out an exasperated sigh, you and takana are his kin. Takana was born on a waning crescent making him a changeling. You

Touhou pauses briefly, glancing up at yori and takana before continuing,
you, yori, are stronger than takana. What you are, demon wise, is stronger than a changeling and the house has recognized this.

Yori pales a bit, " I don't know what moon phase I was born in but i doubt I'm one of those, skin walker things. Besides, I've never done anything special, I'm not strong or anything like that. There must be a mistake. The house made a mistake and it was a one time thing."

[MissyLooni]

Touhou shakes his head, the tendrils of darkness is never wrong. But dont worry. I made a promise to protect the household so thats what i have been doing and thats what i plan to continue to do. So give me back my collar and take me home.

Takana pales, "what?! No! Absolutely not! You almost died! I'm not putting your life in danger!"

[Namari]

Yori shakes his head, " no way! You've been there long enough, with him hurting you. You deserve to be happy too..."

Korri clears her throat, " I'm not certain if this would help away you, but the damage to your tongue is something I can fix. It's clearly very distressing to the boys you care for to think of you going back to such conditions."

[MissyLooni]

Touhou huffs and pouts, pausing for a long time before continuing, while it would be nice to speak again it might anger corrin and i have to go back. I have stopped him from exposing himself and now look! Because i didnt heal fast enough i wasnt there to stop corrin from attacking you guys!

Isabelle blinks, frowning, "does he really... lose his temper that much? How many times?"

Touhou huffs, in the last 10 years it has been almost a weekly occurrence,  even more so when takana left. He no longer has the misery of the war to feed off of so it causes him to lash out more, even though him lashing out just uses more energy...

Takana tsks softly, "it's almost like the only one who truly benefited from the war was him."

Touhou blinks and raises an eyebrow before slowly nodding in a 'duh' expression

Yori shakes his head " but...why do you have to go back? Do you really want to keep being hurt?"

Touhou sighs, of course i dont want to get hurt but... if anything happened to you guys and i wasnt there to stop it
 then i'd feel guilty. As long as the house stands then I'll be fine so its not like you need to worry about me that much.

[Namari]

Yori shakes his head, " no! what he he kills you next time? even if he doesn;t, i can;t let you go back there knowing he's just gonna hurt you... i wouldn;t be able to live with myself... the house told me to fight and if i have to to try and stop you from going back then i will!"

[MissyLooni]

Touhou huffs, you guys shouldnt be involved in this! I can handle it! I know what he's capable of! I was with him for most of his life so i know him better than anyoen else. Let me handle it.

Takana is quiet for a little bit before frowning, "how.... old are you."

Touhou freezes briefly before looking away, its not polite to ask someones age

Yori looks at Korri, " who can teach me how to fight? i don;t know if i can beat my dad but if that's what i need to do to keep him from going back there then i will."

Korri looks at him somewhat doubtfully, " well, since we don;t know what sort of shapeshifter you are, perhaps teaching you how to wield a weapon will be best for now. Nikiri is very skilled with a blade, perhaps you can convince him to teach you."

[MissyLooni]

touhou whines loudly and quickly stands up, grabbing yori's arm and shaking his head in panic

Takana winces, not liking the idea of his brother fighting, "um okay here's an idea.... what if we dont go back to the house for a while? Isabelle's cottage is actually pretty big for just a 'cottage' and its honestly really nice. if we're there and not at the house then touhou doesnt have to go back in order to protect anyone, right? win win. he's not there and neither are we. How about that?"

[Namari]

Yori looks at Touhou then at Takana, " okay... but if he goes back to the house then im gonna try and get some fighting lessons! If he's gonna put himself in harms way to protect us then i can try to protect him..."

Korri chuckles softly, " well, looks like you have a choice to make, Touhou was it? Will you go with the boys, or will you say here? I'd prefer to be able to keep an eye on your injuries until they're a little more healed."

[MissyLooni]

touhou looks a little relieved to know that yori wasnt, for now,  going to try to fight. he looks at korri and tsks softly, i do not require anymore of your help

takana blinks and frowns, "Dont be like that to her. She's being incredibly kind doing all of this for us, for you, so the least you could do is not act like me. Besides," he places a hand on touhou's forehead, "you're looking a little pale. I think we've kept you long enough so go back with korri and get some rest okay?"

Touhou's jaw drops very briefly before he huffs at takana

Takana chuckles, "i'll see you again, dont you worry about that. and when you are COMPLETELY better you can be with us but until then i'd feel better if you were with an actual healer."

touhou's head drops as he gives up
