nikiri hears his phone go off and looks at it, "oh ho maybe a love letter from ko-" his eyes widen and he turns pale, "ahahahaaa..... welp. izanagi my time has come. dig me a grave if arakan is kind enough to leave me a body~"
sure sure sure ahahahahahah where do you want to meet up?

Izanagi pales. " oh no..."

come to my place. this isn't a conversation i want public. He sets his phone aside and sighs.

nikiri gets up and groans, "His. place. great. alright, no body for me then. cancel the grave." he goes over to izanagi and kisses him on the forehead, "be good and take care." he heads to arakans place

Izanagi whines, " don;t die please."

Arakan is hunched over as he sits, fingers laced and his lips against his hands as he taps his foot impatiently.

soon nikiri arrives and he is clearly nervous, "heeey arakan, good buddy who i've known since we were kids. whats up?"

Arakan looks over at him, eyes narrowed as he gets up. " You knew, didn't you? The entire fucking time."

Nikiri freezes and he clears his throat a little as he begins to sweat, "i- I did. yes."

Arakan growls, " you didn't think it was important that i should know that a fucking human was manipulating me for months?! did you think it was funny to watch me clueless as he learned our weaknesses?"

nikiri drops the nervous smile, his expression going somber, "i wouldnt use the word manipulation since that wasnt his intent so no, i didnt think to tell you."

Arakan's eyes flash, " that's not for you to decide! our entire district could be in danger now. War was inevitable before, but with the information he has, he can easily cripple us so that we have no chance... I trusted you, my mistake. One of your sisters will be given charge of relaying information until i can figure out what to do about you."

Nikiri snarls loudly, "there are more pressing matters at the moment than a damn war that we'd win anyway!"

Arakan's eyes narrow, " and please do tell me, what exactly those matters might be? since you've been keeping me so well informed lately."

nikiri sighs softly, "I have an informant who relays me kuroshiba information involving the human side which is something you have benefited from in the past. im sure this is how you probably realized I had been hiding something from you. regardless, shortly after you kicked takana out the shiba mansion was under attack by a confirmed wendigo."

Arakan crosses his arms, " and exactly when did this happen? did you plan to ever tell me or are you only telling me this now to cover your ass."

nikiri shrugs, "I figured you didnt care what happened to them so no, i didnt plan on telling you. From what I was told by Zeus Corrin threw Takana into a locked room and threatened to do the same to yori and isabelle and then...." nikiri looks a little uncomfortable, "apparently... corrin turned into a wendigo and went after them. The three managed to escape and are now hiding out in a different location. I always knew Corrin was an abusive and neglectful father but this was... the first incident i've heard of involving the wendigo. Isabelle managed to get footage too if you doubt me."
