Arakan lets a long breath out through his nose, eyes closed. " i... well i don;t know for sure, but i suppose in order to know for sure, i have to talk to him. Nikiri allowed me to question him while under the effects of Caladrius tears, and hopefully Takana will as well. As long as you're at it, will you? i will not abuse it, i just need to know that this isn;t a scheme to harm my people. and i need to be absolutely certain."

isabelle nods, "please do. I have nothing to hide and this way you can feel more reassured by what i say."

Arakan nods and gets a glass of water, pulling out the small vial and putting one drop into the glass, " here you are. the effects will only last about 10 minutes."

isabelle calmly takes the cup and drinks the glass before setting it down, "ask away."

Arakan takes a deep breath, "do you have any malicious intention towards the district or demons? Would you ever do something to harm the district or the demons unprovoked? Do you believe Takana has any ill intentions towards the district? is anything you are planning intended to harm the district?"

"i have no malicious intent towards either of the two. I would never think to harm the district or the demons regardless of whether it was provoked or unprovoked. I dont believe takana has any ill intentions either. he doesnt think things through all the time and he tends to act before thinking so while that can cause problems i know it would never be on purpose. And nothing i have planned or what we've been working on has any malicious intent to harm the district. Admittedly, when takana first came to me about this districts problems i thought he only wanted my help because he was living here and any upgrades meant his living situation would also improve however... in our conversations and coming here from time to time i could tell that he was genuinely upset by the conditions that you and your people were forced to live by. Possibly even more guilty considering his family ties."

Arakan lets out another breath and relaxes a little " thank you. that does put my mind at ease somewhat. Oh, as long as you're here, i may as well give you the forms you'll need to fill out to get some work passes for the demons you wanted to employ. assuming you still wanted to." he walks out of the room and comes back with several papers, setting them in front of her. " you will need to do one for each demon you plan to employ, once filled out i'll see about finding candidates to fill those spots. you've got a few minutes before those tears wear off so you should stay here until they do to avoid anyone abusing it on accident."

Isabelle nods and takes the papers, gently putting them in her purse, "I'm glad that you seem to be more at ease. Is there anything else I can do for you?"

Arakan thinks for a moment, " no... not that i can think of. everything seems to be going smoothly, relatively speaking, for opening day for the district. we've got a few humans guards that'll be posted within the district, and i will be assigning demons to work with them. so once Curtis figures who are the best choices i'll introduce them beforehand and go over protocol. but so far i don;t see any issues cropping up."

She's quite for a moment before nodding, "okay well that's good. And takana? What do I tell him when I head back?"

Arakan sighs, " that we need to talk. and i will need absolute truth." he lifts the bottle and tucks it back into his pocket. " i cannot be in doubt."

isabelle nods, "That is what i'll tell him then. so... did you want him to contact you first or do you want to contact him when you have time?"

[Namari]

Arakan sighs softly, " i... let him decide if and when he wishes to contact me. or we can simply arrange for you to bring him and his brother at some point for a visit if he cannot find the motivation for that. "

isabelle nods, "i'll see what i can do. I'll even try to convince him to change his clothes to something that... hasnt been worn for over two weeks."

He snorts softly, " we could have Curtis hose him down at the gate."
