Nikiri tsks softly, "your confidence is trash. People aren't a waste dear. Get your room together how you wish. Bathroom is down the hall to your left. I'll be back."
His hand lingers on yori for a moment before he goes downstairs to check on his mother

Yori sticks his tongue out, " yeah but your mother needs you right now." He watches him go then starts fussing with things, not really sure what he wants. His mom has always arranged his room. He clumsily puts his clothes away, more than slightly crumpled, before sitting on the bed, looking around. He was gonna be there awhile, so better get used to it.

Nikiri checks on his mother before calling korri.

Korri blinks and picks up, " yes? Hopefully you're not bringing me more trouble. I just fixed up the last one." She chuckles softly.

[MissyLooni]

Nikiri sighs, "I do apologize for bothering you so late. I just got back to the house with yori and mother ended up getting so excited that she had a faint spell. Upon telling her to take some medicine she states that she ran out yesterday and forgot to say something. She's sitting and seems chipper at the moment but if she's going to get excited like this I'd feel better if she had some medicine."

[Namari]

Korri sighs, " the silly woman, i should have guessed a guest would get her excitable. i have some ready to go, i'll bring it over and have a talk with her."

[MissyLooni]

Nikiri nods, "thank you. I'll get her to her lounge chair in the meantime." He hangs up before going to Imogen, "korri is on her way. Please expect a soft chastising from her along with medicine."

Imogen sighs, "it was just a little bit of a dizzy spell."

Nikiri sighs, "a little dizzy spell here or there is still bad for your heart mother. And I'd feel better if you were just a bit more careful." He gently scoops her up and carries her out of the entry hallway and over to a side room where there are some fake plants and a bookshelf and a low, long plush chair, "here. Will you be okay here?"

Imogen nods, "yes nikiri, I'll be just fine thank you."

Nikiri nods and kisses her forehead, "don't do anything reckless."
He heads back upstairs and sighs, "alright, mother is in her chair and korri is coming over to tend to her. Yori! Everything is handled." He pokes his head in yoris room

Yori looks over, " oh, good. im glad. i've put away my stuff. well, my clothes anyway. so... yeah. it's a nice room" nothing like what he was used to, but still he wasn;t going to be ungrateful.

Korri hurries over and locates Imogen, walking over and handing her the medicine, " down the hatch. what were you thinking going an entire day without your medicine? i know you're excited to have a guest but you could have hurt yourself."

Imogen quickly takes the medication, sighing softly, "I'm sorry. It's just... so exciting to have a guest. This house feels empty. I mean, I know we have the littles still but all the kids except nikiri who are 18 and over have moved out, the teens are out daily for their training and having sleepovers with their friends so... it's just quiet."

Nikiri nods, "admittedly it's not a bad house. A bigger one then you can normally find in the district. Normally a c rank wouldn't even get a house this nice however we had a big family to accommodate and our abilities are useful enough that we are allowed such accommodations."

[Namari]

Korri smiles, " i know, but you still have to take care of yourself. you can;t take care of a guest if you yourself get hurt. I for one won;t allow him to stay here if it causes you more health slip-ups. perhaps if you want more noise i can see about taking you to the womens center now and then to see the littles there? Just so long as you keep your health in mind."

Yori nods, " yeah, it certainly seems like it's better than most of the places around, no offense. everything seems so... beaten up. anyway uh... so what do you guys do to keep busy around here? i guess maybe i should think about getting a job like takana or something."

[MissyLooni]

Imogen squeaks, "ah no! No don't take him away! I'll do better about my health!"

Nikiri shrugs, "we don't have many demons who know how to do such fixing, nor do we have the materials or equipment. We make do with what we have. As for a job... I'm not entirely sure. We'll have to discuss it with arakan. We have a few e rank demons who are brave enough to go to the human district for work but not many want to handle that kind of abuse so.... yeah. It might take a few days to see if we have anything."

[Namari]

Yori blinks, " well i can go work in the human district, i mean i know im... technically half and half i guess, but i look human, and they don;t need to know im half. i dunno, im not really good at anything useful like Takana is, so im not sure what i could do."

Korri nods, " good. be sure that you do. now rest, let that medicine do it's work."

[MissyLooni]

Imogen nods and leans back in her chair, "aye aye boss~" she giggles softly

Nikiri nods, "well you have a good last name that can get you probably any job in the human district. Although this is only if you want a job. I'm not sure how much money you plan to keep on you but the closest atm is going to be at the gate if your card still works. I know takana didn't have a debit card working when he came over but that was because of your mother and I can't see her doing that to you."

[Namari]

Yori nods, " but... is it a good idea for me to use my card? then wouldn't my dad know where i am? I don;t wanna put you guys in danger."

Korri shakes her head with a smile and settles into a chair nearby.

Nikiri shrugs, "use an atm in the human district then. "

Imogen shifts so she's on her side and she can look at korri, "thank you for being a dear friend of mine. I always feel grateful when you are at my side."
