Topic: To Cross That Line (Namari x Missylooni)

Nikiri blinks when he watches yori hold his youngest sister and he can't help but let his eyes linger before sighing, "well holding my sister is useful for her but you dont have to hold her. She's the youngest and... I think the most neglected so she gets clingy."

[Namari]

Yori props her on his hip to take some of the weight off his arms, " well if I'm giving her attention then you don't have to worry so much about her, so you can get your stuff done. That's useful right? I mean I've never taken care of a kid, but your mom is around if I get too far in over my head."

[MissyLooni]

Nikiri hesitates before nodding, "okay I guess. It would help mother. Admittedly a lot of her attention is mainly on Phae because she has a growth issue with her antlers. We've tried to ease her into the idea of just not having antlers but she is desperate to have her own and it's tough cuz she gets these weird bouts of sickness and her antlers will break. We still haven't figured out why but korri has been trying to see if it has anything to do with mother's condition but it's hard when we don't really have the technology or the supplies to figure this kind of stuff out."

[Namari]

Yori frowns, " I'm sorry to hear that... Um, I don't know anything about that stuff, but we've established I have money. I could try and buy some things that might help? I dunno."

[MissyLooni]

Nikiri sighs softly,  "sorry to unload that on you but you dont have to do any of that. And in all honesty I have no idea what korri would even need. Thank you anyway."

Elyza happily clings to yori as she yawns

Yori nods, " alright... well i do have internet on my phone, maybe we can try and look some things up. im sure any medical supplies would be helpful to her, even if it's not the stuff she needs specifically for Phae." He looks at Elyza, " are we getting tired?"

[MissyLooni]

Nikiri nods, "it's definitely something to look into." He smiles when elyza yawns,  "maybe she was on a mood because she is tired."

Elyza snuggles against yori as she starts getting drowsy

Yori chuckles, " I guess we should get her to bed then. It is getting late."

[MissyLooni]

Nikiri nods, "her bedroom is this way." He heads out of the guest room and goes down the hall until he gets to a smaller bedroom with a little bed and a bunch of messy crayons and papers and doodles, some of them cute with puffy clouds and sun's and her siblings and a very small few depicting angry stick figures with crude stick like guns and a messy scribble of red close to him

[Namari]

Yori carries her down the hallway, " well if nothing else I'll build up some muscles carrying her around." He gently sets her in the bed and looks at the drawings, " oh..."

[MissyLooni]

Nikiri winces when he sees the unpleasant drawings and quickly flips them face down, "ahahaha... kids will draw... anything weird. Um so. " He nervously tucks elyza into the bed before gently placing a hand on yori's shoulder, "it IS getting late so I think I'm going to get some tea. Do you want anything before bed?"

[Namari]

Yori shakes his head, " not your fault, I guess it makes sense. Um, no, I'm good. I can find my way back, goodnight." He heads for his room.

[MissyLooni]

Nikiri nods and heads down to the kitchen and starts to make some tea to help him fall asleep, half wondering if korri was still here.

He let's the kettle heat up and while waiting heads to wear he knew he put his mother.

[Namari]

Yori heads to his room and flops onto the bed, laying there for a bit before pulling his phone out and playing some games to keep his mind busy.

Korri is still there, talking softly with Imogen, " well with the room you have here and his insistence that he wants to be near those boys, perhaps I should ask Touhou if he wants to come help out here. I know you have your hands full with the girls."

[MissyLooni]

Imogen hums softly, "touhou. That sounds like a funny name. And you said he was a mouse? I suppose from the sounds of it he raised the brothers so he'd know how to handle kids. I wouldn't mind. Maybe it would help yori not feel like a stranger here as well if he was with someone he knew more."

Nikiri smiles when he sees them, "hey I was about to make some tea for the evening. Nothing extravagant, just some chamomile to help wind down. Did either of you two care for some?"

Imogen looks at nikiri and nods, "a cup of tea sounds lovely for me. How about you korri?"
