Topic: To Cross That Line (Namari x Missylooni)

[Namari]

Yori nods, " well i suppose that's why Phae said she'd maybe like the night light then huh." he sets the last box out to wait for her to bring Robin back.

[MissyLooni]

Phae soon comes back up the stairs with robin, "back!"

Robin looks incredibly nervous, "Phae id rather not."

[Namari]

Yori smiles, " oh, so you're Robin. You don't have to stay, I just wanted to give you this." He scoots the box towards her and backs off so he doesn't get too close. " It's a night light, just like this one." He gestures to the walls and ceilings. " So it won't be so dark at night. Just plug it in and press the button. It's nice to meet you."

Robin looks at yori and then at the box, and then up at yori again, "Why would you suddenly give me anything?"

[Namari]

Yori blinks, " Phae said she didn't like the dark, so I wanted to help her. She said you might like one too."

[MissyLooni]

Robins eyes narrow, "it's not a bomb or some other device to kill me?"

[Namari]

Yori blinks, staring at her for a long moment, " uh, no? it's... it's the same as this one." he points to the one that's on and lighting the room.

[MissyLooni]

Phae smiles up at Robin, "isn't it pretty!"

Robin huffs, "people don't just give things to others. Especially a human even if it's a half thing."

Nikiri steps inside the room and places a hand on robins shoulder, earning a squeak from her, "it's alright robin. Yori is a pretty decent human. After all arakan hasn't killed him." Joke. That's a joke.

Robin blinks, calming down a little, "I guess... you're not wrong."

[Namari]

Yori's eyes widen, " is that a thing i have to worry about?!"

[MissyLooni]

Nikiri laughs softly, "unless you became a threat to the district he wouldn't do anything. You don't seem like the type to pull a Takana so don't worry. I was joking."

[Namari]

Yori nods slowly, then looks at Robin, " i just wanted to do something nice, since you guys are letting me stay here..."

[MissyLooni]

Robin sighs softly and hesitantly takes the box, "um thanks. I guess. Have a good night." She turns and goes to her room.

Nikiri waits until Robin leaves and sighs, "sorry about Robin. She... doesn't trust a lot of people, especially humans. I think.. it's because she was like, 7 or 8 when we had our really rough couple of years. Inspections were bad and she was old enough to remember what was going on but young enough that she didn't know why. So... yeah. She kinda assumes the worst out of every situation. "

[Namari]

Yori nods, " that okay. i hope it helps her regardless."

Korri calls up Imogen, humming softly.

[MissyLooni]

Imogen lazily grabs her phone and answers it, her voice sounding groggy from waking up,  "hello~?"

[Namari]

Korri smiles, " Imogen dear? i hope i didn;t wake you. i just had a quick question. i suspect i already know the answer, but just to put our little mouse friends mind at ease, you do plan to give him a bedroom to stay in, and you won;t expect him to stay in a supply closet?"
