touhou blinks and gives a chuckle, "its fine, its fine. he's done worse so im not upset over it. if we had this conversation about a hundred years ago i might have other words but ive had plenty of time to think over my life so im just doing what i can to make the most out of it."

[Namari]

Yoris eyes water, " you... you've been dealing with this for over 100 years!?"

[MissyLooni]

Touhou blinks, in confusion,  "um... longer I guess. But it's fine, really!"

Yori sighs, " you must have been through so much... i wish i could help you more."

[MissyLooni]

"Hey." Touhou wraps an arm around yori's shoulders, "I got to meet the most sincere and kind woman and I helped raised her son who was just as equally as kind to me. And then I helped him raise you. And while I know things are tough right now and you have a lot going on in your head the only thing I can think of that would help me is for you to be happy. Find happiness. Make the most out of your life and stay safe. That's all I ever wanted for you and takana. "

Yori hesitates before leaning into him, " im sorry i spent so much of my life being scared of you...and i want to be happy, but i don't think i can be until this is all resolved. my father is making these people miserable for his own gain, and apparently even the strongest demons here can only oppose him if he gets really weak? if im the same thing as him, then... somehow... im the best bet as a defense against him or... or the best way to get rid of him."

[MissyLooni]

Touhou hums softly,  "arakan isn't the strongest demon here. But at corrins current strength if several of the top leaders came together to fight him they'd have a shot. If it's only a 1 on 1 fight then corrin needs to get weaker. And he is. The best way to keep him from getting stronger is to make sure another war doesn't happen. That amount of misery would feed him well for another 50 or so years."

[Namari]

Yori frowns, " but... i don't think he's just gonna stand by and let himself get weaker without a fight will he? that just sounds like a really uncertain plan, i mean it'd be great if it did work, but what if something happens? what if he manages to force a situation where he's not growing weaker, even if it's not a war. i know that there's no way a bunch of the leaders can come together, that's probably why they've been separated into different districts and not allowed to move around to begin with. I have to learn how to fight, because it sounds like i might be the last resort in order to not let him keep doing all this."

[MissyLooni]

Touhou sighs, "you're not wrong about the separation of the demons being a major issue.  And yeah I know he wouldn't let himself get that weak. Especially without me being near him to give him misery he'll have to find a new target. A part of me hopes he wants to keep up with the human charade like he had been before takana left because even if I try to teach you how to use your powers it's going to take a while. A lot of meditation and finding yourself."

[Namari]

Yori blinks, " that's okay, the sooner we start the better than right? hopefully i don;t ever need to use it, but if i gotta then i need to be able to right?"

[MissyLooni]

Touhou nods, "fine. I will teach you. It would be best anyway in case something happens to you that a human couldn't survive. I'd prefer to not have you harmed but if it happens and you pass out your demon half will take over and with no control or training could mean we'd have a mindless creature to worry about."

[Namari]

Yori nods, " thank you! i'd rather not have to fight either but... im not selfish enough to do nothing when i could at least be ready to help maybe."

[MissyLooni]

Touhou sborts softly, "well you should be. The only parameters I want you fighting in is if you're defending yourself or takana. Anything else should be ignored."

[Namari]

Yori wanted to respond but bite the retort back. If he protested, then Touhou wouldn't teach him. " so when can we start?" changing the subject was safer.

Touhou glances out the window, "tomorrow if that's alright. No need to do such things in a house full of kids and it's too dark to go outside safely."
