Korri nods and gets up, dimming the lights a little, " is that better?"

Takana gives a loud sigh of relief, "oh gosh that's so much better."

Nikiri soon arrives at the infirmary, "helllooooo~♡ where is the most beautiful healer in the world?"

Korri looks over towards the voice, amused, " right in the clinic as usual, happily married, and dealing with a concussed patient so volume control would be appreciated."

Yori peeks around Nikiri and sees Takana, running over. He wanted to yell but he heard Korri and keeps his voice low as he gets close, " are you okay? im so sorry."

Takana mouths a silent thank you to korri before looking at yori, "I'm fine, I'm fine. Hey no need to apologize."

Nikiri chuckles, "well if the marriage starts to get rocky I'll be here."
A joke as always. He knew they would be happily married for a long time.

Korri smiles softly at him before stepping away to let them talk, " I'm a Phoenix not a cougar my dear. I saw you in diapers."

Yori sighs, " I wish I was stronger, then maybe I could have helped... I should have gone home with you or something."

takana huffs, "dont even start with that. we could play the blame game all god damn day but it doesnt help anything now. im just glad im safe and im glad i seem to be the only injured person here."

nikiri chuckles and follows her, "If anything you're a time vampire. you havent aged at all since the diaper days."

Yori grumbles a bit but sits next to Takana, " how's your head? What happened?"

Korri snorts softly, " Typical for a demon who has regenerative abilities. Don't forget I changed those diapers, I've seen what you have to see." She quipps. " On a more serious note, we will need to figure out a way to prevent this happening again. We know they're targeting Takana, but why?"

takana hums, "Aside from being concussed im fine. i followed whoever that person was until they started to not act like izanagi. then when she turned back to herself i barely had time to react before she knocked my ass out. its a little blurry after that... i could tell i was tied up somehow but everything was dark and i was so dizzy from being jostled around."

nikiri shakes his head, "For once i have no answers. hell i dont even know who that lady was. i think your husband called her persephone but i was pretty high up on a roof away from the fight so im probably the last person who knows anything. when your son inevitably arrives you could probably get more answers from him." nikiri grumbles softly, not meeting korri's eyes

Yori stares wide eyed, " that must have been awful..."

Korri nods, " indeed. he ought to be back shortly... speak of the devil."

Arakan walks in, a quick motion of his hand casting the snow from his shoes. He looks up and sees Yori with Takana, hesitating before he notices his mother looking at him and walks over, nodding to Nikiri, " i see his brother wanted to see him."

[MissyLooni]

Takana chuckles softly, "it was but it's over now. I'm just glad it was me and not you. I'd definitely would have done something stupid if it meant keeping you safe."

Nikiri hums softly, "of course. They have a healthy relationship so it would only be natural that they want to be by each other. If you'll excuse me, I think I'll wait outside until it's time to take yori home."
He takes a step back and heads outside.

Arakan watches him go, " i'll need to speak with him about how to prevent this happening in the future."

Korri nods, " indeed. he seems to be miffed at you."

Arakan sighs, " i don't want to get into it. I don't know though, perhaps im putting too much onto his shoulders. perhaps i need to find someone else to be my second."

Korri raises an eyebrow, " that bad? well we'll see. now, care to give me the details? what you know anyway."

Arakan quickly gives her the series of events, and she hums softly, " So Persephone wanted to take him. i doubt it was just because he's family, because you'd think she'd at least attempt to ask him before resorting to kidnapping him."

Arakan nods, " yeah... i need to look into it further."



Yori pouts, " don;t say that! i wanted to do something stupid but i knew i'd just get in the way."

Takana snorts, "that's why I'm glad it was me. You're a lot smarter than me and know when not to get yourself involved."

[Namari]

Yori huffs, " for now maybe...oh! Touhou came with to see you, but he went into my pocket and hasn;t come out. i dunno why." He opens his pocket to look in at the mouse.

[MissyLooni]

Touhou peeks out and a soft squeak can be heard before he starts cleaning himself off.

Takana blinks, "it's funny to see him like that."

Touhou jumps out of the pocket and hits the floor.with a thud before turning back into his normal form,  "apologies. It's warmer in the pocket."

Yori chuckles, " oh i don;t mind, i was kind of surprised you changed and caught a ride instead of just coming with normally but it doesn;t bother me. i just wanted to make sure you get to see Takana too. and that i didn;t accidentally squish you. i need to find something i can put in my pocket to make it less flexible so i can;t hurt you."

Arakan hesitates before heading to the door, stepping out and not looking at Nikiri, " i was thinking of implementing a passcode system since they are clearly after Takana. there will be times im not able to escort him directly myself every time, and having this code would let us know the person with it is the real thing and not a copy. though it'll probably need to be changed regularly."
