Touhou glances at yori, "if I have a choice between running or catching a ride I'd rather have the ride."

Takana chuckles, "that sounds about right."

Nikiri nods, "sounds reasonable. If it helps to know kaeru's mother, the maiden of that little shrine, can make mirror like glass that shoes someone's true self so that could be something to look into as well. If you don't have time to reach out to her then I can send Luna to do so."

[Namari]

Arakan blinks, " i was not aware of that. please have Luna look into getting a few of those made."

Yori chuckles, " can;t say i blame you."

[MissyLooni]

Nikiri looks out towards the street, "it's the only reason why kaeru works at the cafe. It takes a lot of money to upkeep the shrine which fuels her mother's ability. Luna will check in first thing in the morning."
He tightens his kimono, doing his best to keep the chill out.

[Namari]

Arakan sighs, " i'll go see how my father is so you can go back inside. if you catch a cold over an argument then you're being stupid." he heads back in, and then through the clinic to another area of the house.

[MissyLooni]

Nikiri huffs softly once arakan is gone, "you always think I'm stupid." He grumbles softly before heading back inside but just enough to keep warm.

Takana keeps talking with yori, "we'll just have to have an even bigger get together once I'm better to make up for today."

[Namari]

Yori blinks and realizes they never got to make the food, " aw and i got stuff from one of the restaurants you like for dinner too. i'll just have to get it again for next time so you can enjoy it."

[MissyLooni]

Takana smiles,  "aw damn. Well share it with touhou and next time we'll have a feast. Thank you though, that sounds like it was going to be really fun. "

[Namari]

Yori nods, " i was gonna try anyway."

Korri walks in, noting Nikiri sulking by the door, " Takana, how are you feeling? you look alert, but i have to check."

[MissyLooni]

Takana smiles at korri, "I feel fine. Maybe a bit of a headache but that's normal I'm sure. "

[Namari]

Korri nods, " good." she walks over to Nikiri, keeping her voice low, " care to tell me what happened between you and Arakan?"

[MissyLooni]

Nikiri sighs softly, also keeping his voice low, "he told me to keep an eye on yori in case he ends up being a threat that needs to be killed. I did not take that too well for multiple reasons and called him out on it and he snapped back telling me to know my place along with a comment about my family only being a support to yours. And I as always am a sniveling little bitch baby when it comes to my family so we are not getting along at the moment. Doesn't matter. Luna is quiet and obeys without question so she'll be a much better tagalong than me. She didn't grow up with him so as far as she's concerned there is no blurry lines of giving advice as a friend versus giving advice as an advisor so it's perfect."

[Namari]

Korri looks at him in surprise, " oh my, that's a rather extreme reaction for that. i wonder what's gotten into him... that and then i had to remind him he had to reassure the district after the lockdown. He didn't want to leave Takana's side. perhaps it's been too much for him lately, i'll see if Ryokan can;t take over some of the day to day things and give him a break. perhaps the stress is too much...When i was able to conceive him despite all the odds i felt like it was fate, and didn;t feel the need for more children, perhaps that was a mistake. you've given me a great deal to think about." She sighs softly.

Nikiri frowns and looks away, a bit of guilt eats at him, "I'm sure that not necessary. Our fight happened a few hours ago so I'm sure arakan was only distracted because of the fact that for the first time I snapped at him and the words I used to call him out were rather harsh after all so once this fight gets pushed to the side he'll get over it."
He looks like he wants to say more. To vent. But he keeps his words brief.

Korri smiles and reaches up to pat him on the shoulder, " you're young yet, he needs to be able to be rational regardless of the circumstances if he'd going to lead, especially with the changes he's making. im certain he didn't mean to offend your family's values when he told you such a thing, it must have weighed heavily on his mind. but regardless, he ought to have considered the implications of such a thing, even if it is indeed something he needs to consider. sometimes the burden of knowledge must be solely a leaders, not shared even with those he's closest to."

Nikiri gives a defeated sigh, "I'll... talk to him and try to speak to him as an adult and apologize. If he's better afterward than do not feel the need to speak with him after. If he's still acting weird after then..." nikiri gives another sigh, this time with a 'I don't know' shrug, "I started his weird behavior, might as well give me a chance to correct it myself."
