Indigo smiles at her, also keeping his voice low, " im glad, it's been very nice having you here. I do enjoy spending time with you."

Isabelle nods, "I do seem to find myself smiling when I'm here. It used to not be like that but.. things change. People change."

[Namari]

Indigo chuckles, " well, that can be a good thing sometimes. other times... not so much. people change over time, and sometimes... people grow in different directions. but sometimes that just means you're growing towards someone else who is reaching for the same ray of sunshine as you too." he uses his hip to open the door to his home and hold it open for Isabelle.

Isabelle sighs, "I never thought I would be the kind of person to reach for the sunshine. I was content where I was... at least I thought I was." She goes inside

" everyone deserves to be able to reach for sunshine, no matter who or where they are. everyone deserves a chance at being happy." he walks to his bedroom and carefully lays sapphire down on her bed and tucks her in, coming back and putting the desserts in the fridge.

Isabelle shrugs, "I always assumed I was like one of my many shaded plants that didn't need sun." She shakes her head, "ah but enough of this sun talk. It's confusing. I'm fine."

[Namari]

Indigo looks at her for a moment, " alright. But if you're not fine, you don't need to pretend here with me. It's okay to not be okay, whatever is the matter, I'm here for you."

[MissyLooni]

isabelle feels her chest ache and she gives a hesitant nod, "I... am fine. Content. for the moment... but i'll keep what you said in mind."

Indigo nods, " alright. And don't take that as me being forward either, I can be for you as a friend just as well as I could more. Now...some tea?"

isabelle nods and smiles, "some tea would be lovely, thank you."

Indigo enjoyed some tea with Isabelle until Sapphire woke from her nap, at which time they had their dessert and played awhile longer before Indigo escorted Isabelle to the gate for the night. The next morning was hectic as demons scrambled to be ready for the opening, Arakan at watch near the gate and Indigo tense at his new post with Davie.

Isabelle finishes getting ready, wearing a pristine baby blue off the shoulder dress with a matching ascot and 2" heels.

She closes the door to her bedroom and starts walking towards the kitchen where her purse is.

Makoto waits for her as he stands in the kitchen, arms crossed and an already sour expression, "Where do you think you're going this early?"

Isabelle grabs her purse, not making eye contact, "Out. Why are you even home this late? Shouldn't you be at the office already? Or did you not get your bedroom set up there yet?"

Makoto snarls and quickly steps in front of the door, blocking isabelle's way out, "The fucking disrespect coming from you has GOT to STOP."

Isabelle blinks for a split second before she glares at Makoto, "From me? from ME?! You have treated me poorly since the moment we said I do and it has only gotten worse after my infertility issues. You put me down at every conversation, we dont even sleep in the same room and even though this is MY house ALL of my things are pushed into ONE room where you cant see it! I am tired of living this way! Now MOVE. I have somewhere to be!"

Makoto throws his hands in the air, "This is exactly what i am talking about! You were fine with all of this happening and you never said anything before until you started hanging out with those monsters! they poisoned your br-"

"Dont speak ill about them! They didnt poison me at all! If anything they helped me realize that I was allowing you to abuse me because I was too scared to think no one else would ever love me. But what you and I have isnt love at ALL. If anyone around here is a monster its YOU!"

Makoto tenses up at suddenly being called a monster and before he could stop himself he punches isabelle across the face, watching in satisfaction as she hits the ground hard, "Fine then. if im such a monster then you should have known that was coming. Stay the fuck home. " he glances at the time, "Fuck I have a meeting." he grabs his coat and keys and heads out.

Isabelle waits until she hears him leave before shakily getting to her feet. She stumbles to their bathroom and she cant help but wince at the bruise forming on her upper cheek. It wasnt her nose or her lip so no blood but the shiner she was gonna get from this was probably going to last a while...

She grabs her make up bag, something she rarely uses except for some lipgloss, and begins the tedious process of gently applying make to her face to hide the bruising.
It stung so bad and she wanted to cry but she didnt have time...

She finishes up, deciding she did a decent enough job and heads out to the gates, observing the large amount of woman, her peers, that already were waiting to be allowed in.

The normally smiley, silly, and flirty Davie was waiting with a stern and serious expression, standing still and vigilant

Arakan waits until it seems as calm as it would get and everyone was in their positions before nodding subtly to Curtis.to give him the cue they were ready.

Indigo has his eyes on the crowd, trying to both do his job and yet subtly watching for Isabelle as well.

Curtis sees Arakan's nod and hesitantly opens the gates for the woman, albeit he still has to make sure they have their papers, letting them in one at a time as they are approved.

Isabelle steps out of her car and grabs her special badge that lets her in and out as she pleases, she spent a lot of money on it, and she lines up with the other woman

Indigo smiles winningly at the women as they file in, " welcome, please stay within the marked areas, and don't hesitate to come to one of the guard posts if you have any questions or concerns. Enjoy your visit."

Arakan stays back, watching over the proceedings with sharp eyes, alert for any problems.
