Shiro shakes his head, "it's less of protection and more of just getting to spend more time with you."

[Namari]

Izanagi blinks and sighs, " you're too sweet, really. just show that sweetness to other people and im sure they'll fall head over heels for you. you need someone strong."

[MissyLooni]

Shiro hums softly and stands up, "Im just being kind to you because you have been kind to me."

[Namari]

Izanagi shakes his head, " you're too silly. and surprisingly stubborn. well, im still gonna try and get you out there to meet someone who's a better match. come on, lets get walking." he grabs some toast and hands a slice to shiro before heading out of the apartment, eating the one he has.

Shiro blinks at the toast and takes it curiously. He watches nagi eating it and he looks at his own slice before eating it as well

Izanagi gets to the cafe, " we're not technically open yet but im not gonna make you wait in the cold. come on." he opens the door and goes in, gently pushing Shiro to a table before getting to work, yawning as he goes about his starting duties.

Shiro smiles happily as he sits down, clearly enjoying the calm and quiet atmosphere.

Mina stops wiping the menus down and hops over to nagi, whispering loudly, "naaaagi~♡ I see you came in with the big boi~♡"

Izanagi grins at Mina, " and he's indeed a big boy~ what he lacks in experience he makes up for in length, girth and enthusiasm." he sighs softly, " pity the guy has to find a steady mate."

[MissyLooni]

Mina perks up quickly, "he has to find a mate?! Izanagi do you not want to be the lucky man who gets a major bump up in this world??"

[Namari]

Izanagi sighs, " i mean yeah, but also im just an e rank. and his district has a weird thing where his parents can take back the power from him. he'd probably do best if he had a c rank or a b rank mate."

[MissyLooni]

Mina blinks, "7th district right? He just needs to kill his parents then."

[Namari]

Izanagi winces, " well obviously he'd rather not do that. and how can he if they take away the power when he gets it? he actually wants to be decent."

[MissyLooni]

Mina tilts her head, "well it's tradition isn't it? For the son to kill the parents? Why would they not allow it?"

[Namari]

Izanagi sighs, " because he's not supposed to be the heir or something because they're only supposed to have one kid? Ugh I did not get enough sleep for this."

Mina raises an eyebrow, "I can tell. Before you were desperate to get him to notice you for a chance at a better life."
