Indigo hums, " well the cafe isn;t open that early. you might be able to get something the day prior to heat up, or something from outside the district."

davie blinks and nods, "Ah i see.. admittedly i dont go to many human establishments so im not sure whats around me. Maybe the heated up option is the best option for now."

[Namari]

Indigo shrugs, " well i certainly can't tell you what's around. Takana might be able to, or his little brother Yori. They're both from the human district. regardless you could get it at your lunch break today if you wanted. im sure Karim would be pleasantly surprised, he's always working so i don;t think he goes to the cafe. he probably could after the district closes but i think he spends that time weaving more fabric and designing new pieces."

Davie whips his head to look at indigo, his eyes wide, "did you say takana? Like, pink hair, pale skin, rich boy takana?!"

Indigo blinks, " uh, yeah. That would be him. He works at the cafe, as a chef. Not so much a rich boy these days though."

Davie scratches the top of his head and whistles, "wow I haven't seen him since elementary school. Didn't think I'd ever see him again."

Indigo blinks, " oh, you two were close? I'm sure he'll be happy to see you again then. Such an odd thought, seeing someone after being apart so long. Here either you live in the same district your whole life, transfer to another district and never see each other again, or....well death is always on the table. Some lower ranking demons are able to visit other districts though."

Davie shrugs a little, "I mean, we were friends in elementary school but that was so long ago! Maybe a trip to the cafe for food would be interesting. Get Karim some lunch and see takana."

Indigo nods, " i'd suggest waiting until after the lunch rush then to go on your break, that way you can talk to him and see what he thinks will reheat well or can be eaten cold and still be good. and possibly not messy, i don't know Karim well but if i remember correctly he's a stickler for being clean."

Davie nods, "that's a good idea. Thank you for helping me out with all of this Indigo. I really appreciate it. "

Indigo nods, " yeah, no problem. you're a good kid, just... a little over enthusiastic about certain things."

davie sighs, "I am. i wont deny that. i just feel so much better around demons than humans so i get really excited."

Indigo shrugs, " Karim keeps to himself, but then Spidren aren't much more accepted in the demon community than they are by humans. They have trouble fitting it, literally, because of their size. this was all human construction that they simply walled off, so finding dwellings that can accommodate them isn't easy. that's resulted in the population nearly vanishing."

Davie frowns, "that's unfortunate. Even more important that his shop does so well. Maybe it could bring opportunities for some accommodations. Maybe."

Indigo nods, " yeah, it's tricky getting stuff in here to make construction alterations though, and materials. i know he can;t go through the front doors, because they're made for humans. he's got the back open and that's how he gets in and out."
