Dib was relieved to see it didn't take too much longer for the police to finally leave Torque alone. He nodded to Zim and made his way over to the other man, offering him a smile. "Hey, Torque. Long time no see, huh?" He glanced in the direction of the crime scene. "Zim and I are here to investigate a little more privately than them. Besides, I don't think they have the right equipment to find the culprit. They're probably looking for a human killer but obviously it's not and that's where we come in. When the police are gone, could you let us close to check it out please?"

Zim got out when Dib did and walked with him over to Torque giving a slight wave "Hi Torque it's me Zim"

Torque raised a brow as he heard Zim's voice "Hmm, your not green anymore?" He commented on Zim then glanced towards Dib before back to the crime scene "hmm yeah they are looking for a human, you though should not be here. I know you take risks quite often but this is dangerous whatever this is. I have enough trouble keeping the students out of harms way I can't be worrying about you too" He said though the look on his face showed he blamed himself for the death of a couple students as he was suppose to be keeping them safe and had failed now twice.

"Yeah, he's not green anymore. He underwent a surgery to take care of his skin condition." Dib smiled. "We understand that it's dangerous but we don't come unprepared, Torque. We're professional supernatural and paranormal investigators. Me especially. You don't have to worry about us." He looked back to Torque and frowned as he noticed the look on his face. He moved his hand to his arm. "Hey, it isn't your fault what's happened. This is a bigger force than just some psychopath human killer. Zim and I have figured it could be a Lycan, given the giant paw print left at the scene just by looking at the photos shown in the news."

"A surgery? Must of been a good doctor he looks nearly completely normal" His eyes narrowed at Dib's words "Ok well if it is what you think it is then how do you plan to stop it? An lycan is suppose to be a large powerful wolf that run on both two and four legs?" He questioned as he crossed his arms

"I'm sure it was. I wasn't there for it." He blinked when Torque asked how they planned to stop a Lycan. "Well, we do have tranquilizers that could take down a large beast on top of some other weapons we could use to defend ourselves with. We can even set up some very well-hidden traps and we put up cameras around while we sit somewhere safely to watch until something comes. It's sort of like that if we do the trap way."

Dib looked to Zim and grinned. "Or if we want to go the quick way, we have something to follow tracks pretty easily. We could track them down to their house and get em while they're asleep, huh? They wouldn't expect it."

"...This is private property though. Part of the campus so you can not set up cameras or take pictures around here. The students here are easily distracted and always sneaking out at night. My job is to keep them safe and you two being out here will only draw their attention. You need to leave. If you want to catch your beast then do it somewhere else but not here" He said in a almost harsh tone trying to make it clear as day he did not want them there.

Zim's eyes widened a bit startled by the sudden change in Torques personality and thought it over "But if Torque wants the students safe then Torque should except help"

Might not been the best choice of words as Torque tensed up and more loudly said "I don't need your help!"

An officer heard the commotion and started to walk over "Is everything alright sir?"

Dib flinched at the harshness of Torque's words, not expecting it at all. "So we can use the faster way. We just need to get close to the print long enough to pick up its tracks to follow. It won't be too long enough to do that." He opened his mouth to agree with Zim. If Torque accepted the help, the faster they could capture this creature to prevent more deaths. The more people, the better. He shut his mouth as Torque snapped at them instead and looked to the office coming over.

Dib tensed up, his flight or fight response hesitating. Running from them might make him look suspicious. Coming off as aggressive would also make him look suspicious. "Everything is fine, officer. We're just having a talk," he answered as casually as he could. "We just got into a slight disagreement. It happens but we're not going to be physical about it."

Zim flinched at the harsh words and let out an irritated growl about to let Torque know what an idiot he was being till the officer spoke up. He glanced at the officer then towards Dib. Forcing himself to keep his mouth shut.

Torque looked to the officer then to Dib seeing an easy way to make him leave "Officer i'm on the clock these two are trespassing on private property I need them to leave"

Zim jerked his head towards Torque with a glare "Seriously, You..." He hissed out clearly mad about this.

"Trespassing is a part of the law would you like to press charges?"

"No, No nothing like that just make them leave" He said and took this chance to walk away from them.

"Alright you heard him now move along before you do get arrested for trespassing"

Dib frowned as Torque continued to turn against them just because he didn't want help. He narrowed his eyes at him then looked to the police officer after Torque left. "Fine. We're going." He stormed off back toward his car in the lot and unlocked it, getting inside. He crossed his arms and waited until Zim was also inside before he looked over to him. "I don't suppose you have a cloaking device to turn yourself invisible so you can get close without anyone noticing you or do you? If not, we'd have to wait until night, some time before ten at night when no one's around. I still have my student ID at home I could use to pretend I still go here if I'm caught."

Dib groaned. "Talking to Torque was a shit idea. Why did I ever think he'd let us get a look?"

Zim glared at Torque before following after Dib letting out a huff before taking a seat in Dib’s car.  ”what the hell was that about since when has Torque been rude like that?…matter of fact Zim indeed does have such an device. Though it is back at Zim’s base…hey Dib doesn’t think that Torque knows more then what Torque is letting on right? Didn’t seem all that surprised when Dib said it might be an lycan”

"I don't know. I would have thought he'd be fine with letting us at least check out the tracks. I get that he wants to keep us safe but we know what we're doing and we can protect ourselves. Does he think we're powerless? He's seen us fighting before." Dib sighed and looked to Zim. "We can go pick up your device then. Stalling here longer is going to make us look suspicious." He buckled up and started the car then pulled it out of the lot so the police wouldn't come over and wonder why they haven't left yet.

"I don't know what Torque knows but it is weird he didn't tell me that Lycans don't exist but he could have just 'played along' so not to upset me. He did anyway by not letting us help. Those police won't know what to look for. Idiots." Dib started driving toward Zim's base home.

Zim let out a sigh as he thought about what had just happened and the events that led up to Torque turning on them ”what if Torque was not trying to protect Dib but instead trying to protect the lycan. It was only after Dib told Torque how we were going to stop the lycan that became mad and demanded us to leave”

"Why would Torque want to protect the Lycan though? The Lycan has literally killed several students and probably won't stop unless someone steps in to stop them. Torque said his job is to keep the students safe, didn't he? How would he be keeping them safe if he's protecting the Lycan killing them? Maybe one of the students is the Lycan but how would he know that? I doubt they're letting everyone know who and what they are in public considering they're killing in the dark."

”Don’t know could be a student maybe Torque saw them shift into a lycan or maybe some type of relative of Torques or something. It just seems like Torque wants to deal with it personally? Don’t know just seems weird. Maybe there are some clues about that too at the crime scene…No way Torque could be the lycan right? Torque did seem truthful on wanting to protect the students”

"If it is someone related to Torque, why would he let them attack multiple times instead of dealing with it right away? It doesn't make any sense. Hm... it could be a possibility Torque could be a Lycan but I don't think he'd be the one attacking people."
