"That makes sense. It's just a shame, really. That they have to hide their true selves." He gave Torque a comforting smile. "We'll be friends now. Another better late than never. I have spoken to you a few times when we were kids, one time being when I wanted to protect you from Zim when he was harvesting organs to look like a 'normal' kid. That was my fault but he took it as he needed as many organs as he could hold in his body like an idiot." He rolled his eyes and blinked. "Do... you even remember that? I mean after, it's like people pretended like it never happened or not that they knew. I got thrown under the bus and called a freak for sounding like a cow since Zim replaced something in my throat with one of those moo toys. He obviously fixed things back to normal but it's so weird no one seems to like ever talk about it or even wonder what happened."

Dib sighed as he headed back to the stairs to go back down. "Well, just in case, I'd rather stay here until the suit comes then we can all go out hunting for the bastard to put a stop to his killing spree." He went back to the kitchen to get to frosting Zim's chocolate cake with chocolate frosting now that it was cooled off to. "In the meantime, you can make yourself at home. I just have to finish this real quick and I'll join you."

He nodded his head "Yeah it is a shame" Torque smiled back "Good i'm glad your willing to be friends...I do not remember that though it sounds disgusting and right out of a horror movie. There are some days that are just completely missing from my memory i'm going to guess Zim had something to do with that" He snorted as he imagined Dib making mooing toy noises "Cute...Though i'm sure that was scary too" Torque said this as he followed him back down and into the kitchen "A suit?...So like armor then? It's not just him we have to worry about i'm sure if it is just him we can handle it but the vampires are the ones I worry about there the real issue. Vampires feel that they are above everyone else and top of the food chain with humans being worthless food. They have thought like this for a long time so it was a matter of time till it happened". He watched Dib frost the cake "I'm fine right here though. What's the cake for?"

"It was surprising to me when you were willing to follow me so I could keep an eye on you. He still got you though because he was uh... traversing the ventilation system of the school. It was terrifying and I felt really bad I couldn't protect you. I have no idea what he's taken from you." He shook his head and rubbed his throat. "Scary, I suppose but it was more painful than anything. It was around this area. Yeah, or maybe the event was too traumatic for everyone that they pushed it so far down in their memory that they just don't remember it at all."

He nodded to Torque's question about the suit armor. "Both. It's going to be made from alien technology. I trust Zim knows best when it comes to that because I don't think there's much here on Earth compared to more advanced races out there. Vampires... I mean, have we gotten any attacks from them too in the mix of all this? Vampires probably shouldn't see humans as just 'worthless' food. Do they suck all the blood out for humans to die fully or are some turned? They can't drink from anything else like animals? There's no way human blood would taste as good as an animal's that has more of a proper diet and health. Humans eat junk all the time, has to affect the blood in some way..."

Dib continued frosting the cake. "It's for Zim kind of like a thanks for having to deal with my dad and coming with me on these adventures. Sometimes I find myself wondering if he really enjoys this or not, like if he'd have his own hobbies he'd be interested in doing... he follows me usually just to keep from not dying. Hm... I should ask him and maybe we can have days where we can do what he wants to. I feel kinda selfish."

"Well if it was a skool wide attack by Zim and back then I might of been strong but still might of been able hold my own against Zim then I most likely followed you so because of my pack mentality when there is danger its better to stay in a group then being by yourself." He made a face and shook his head as Dib brought up more of what happened back then "Well if it is buried in my mind I think I rather it stay that way...But i'm glad everyone became back to normal some how" He gave a nod "Yeah not much around here that could be used as armor against these enemies...It's hard telling if we have had attacks from the vampires as for the most part they have been going after the homeless or people that no one would really notice just disappear. It's rare that they turn a human but it has happened before. Yes vampires could drink from animals but I guess there is something about human blood they prefer." He gave a small smile "Zim seems like the type to voice if he doesn't like something. After all of this is over and things settle down I would like to give you a real view of my...paranormal world there is so much I could show you"

"You didn't seem very alert when I think about it. You were just following, listening to me ramble while you were uh, working out with a weight and eating something. I would have thought you would have heard him coming especially now that I know you're a Lycan or does all the really good senses like hearing and smelling come with the transformation at the age you can turn into a giant wolf?" He nodded. "Lucky you and everyone else forgetting about that whole ordeal. I couldn't likely not even if I tried."

Dib finished frosting the cake and picked up the sprinkles to douse it on. He frowned as Torque told him vampires mostly targeted the homeless or people that no one would notice gone. "That's awful. I understand why but it's still so awful. They don't deserve to be eaten by vampires." He stuck his tongue out, not knowing what vampires would prefer human blood over animal blood for. "Yeah. Zim is vocal about stuff. I mean he does sometimes complain during our missions if it's too noisy or stinky usually."

He looked up at Torque when he mentioned the paranormal world, his eyes sparkling in interest. "Yes! I'd like that!"

"The sense of smell is a little bit stronger then a humans but other then that there are no other perks till turning age. Now I have extreme hearing, sense of smell, more defined eye sight as well. Well without me remembering it then I can't tell you anything that was going through my mind at that time. Yes it is terrible I think that last time I questioned and vampire on why they drink human blood they said animal blood is like vegetarian and humans are like meat and the human blood sustains them longer" He thought about that meeting a moment as he watched Dib douse sprinkles on the cake "That looks like a food coma waiting to happen Zim really loves his sweets doesn't he...He's also vocal when he's nervous about things thats another reason I knew he was not normal at beginning when you first accused him of being an alien I think if the whole class had not went against you on that it would of been over right there as he had a self destruct button on him." He gave a small chuckle and nodded his head "Good but that'll wait till after this"

Dib nodded. He understood Torque wouldn't remember what was going on back then. It was a really horrible event. People could have died if Zim didn't return everyone's important organs back to their bodies. If there had been a death, Dib was sure that would have been covered very thoroughly... or the blame would be placed on him in some way or another. It was like life had been out to get him just because he was trying to out Zim.

"You talked with a vampire? When? Who is it? Do I know them? Are they from around here?" He looked down at the cake and added more sprinkles so it would equally cover all of it. "Irkens have a lot of sugars and carbs in their diet so this wouldn't hurt him at all. I wouldn't recommend any of us eating it." He laughed. "Yeah. I mean he wasn't being vocal when I was on top of him and accusing him of being an alien until everyone got on my case about bullying him. He's told me about the self-destruct. He still has it but I've told him he should probably try and disconnect that."

He finished with the cake and put a cover over it so it didn't go stale or any stray house flies could come in and eat it. "I know but I am looking forward to it. What other paranormal species have you met and talked with if they talk?"

"Theres a uhh night club of sorts that some paranormal beings go to. Younger vampires will use night clubs as a safe area and also a place to rest during the day. At night clubs you'll see lycans, werewolves, vampires, goblins, witches, wizards, half breeds, I think thats all i've seen in clubs...I don't know if I could take you to one without having the place freak out...but the interesting thing about clubs with vampires is there are humans there that let vampires drink from them. These are the only humans i've seen at these type of night clubs. He nodded his head "I hope he does remove it at some point. Other then at the club i've met a couple sirens they are dangerous as they try to coax you into the water. I've chased a Chupacabra for the fun of it I wanted a closer look but its very fast and escaped me. I've seen a big feet scared the crap out of me and in returned I scared it....uhh I think that's it."

Dib's eyes sparkled with even more interest when Torque explained a nightclub and all the sorts of paranormal beings that attended. And all peacefully too? Even if Lycans and vampires had beef with each other? "Goblins too? Where do they live? There's no way they'd be hiding among the humans unless they have some sort of goblin magic to disguise themselves as humans. What are they like? Do you need a special password to get into the nightclub? Where is it? If there's humans that go with vampires to the nightclub, why wouldn't you be allowed to take me as a plus one or something-?" He paused as that sounded almost like it was them going on a date. He blushed a bit. "Maybe if we bring Zim along too as his normal self- or I'd have to ask him if he'd be interested..."

He listened to Torque talk about sirens and he stared. "Are they all like that? I would figure they'd have their own society too. A chupacabra? Where? I would have thought those would be more in the southern states or even South America since that's where the origin of the stories come from. Bigfeets- wait you call them it? I figure since they're linked to humans, the lost connection, they'd go by similar genders, right? I've had one that looked like a man in my garage before. I caught him using the belt sander but before I could get a picture, he ran away and Gaz is friends with one."

"In areas like here goblins live underground in deep caverns. No they do not hide among humans if they are spotted by someone they didn't want to spot them they would simply erase their memory though sometimes not of just the seeing the goblin as they are trouble makers that do not care for humans some choose to erase the entire memory. Rude obnoxious little creatures...kind of like Zim use to be but worse and love to pull pranks even harmful ones. Normally the night clubs are created by witches or wizards there is a spell set in to where a paranormal being can't use any of their special abilities to harm another within the building and if a fight breaks out you get teleported far from the club and away from wondering eyes where you can either finish your fight outside or choose to leave peacefully. The humans there with the vampires have some strange blood kink where they enjoy seeing a vampire drink from them. I don't know if it would be safe for you to go as someone might mistake you for one of those types of humans" His eyes went wide and he blushed lightly "Are you asking me to take you on a date?" He shook his head at the mention of Zim going "The goblins will rattle him up and he'll get tossed out i'm sure of it. The ones I have met are like that. Was they have their own society. Lycans in human form suck at swimming and for the most part we sink like a rock. So I don't get very close to deep water. The Chupacabra was not around here I saw it while on vacation a year ago. I did not get close enough to fully see its gender we both spooked each other and ran in opposite directions this was before I could turn into a wolf"

"Caverns? In the city? I don't know how many caverns are around. I've been to at least two or three. Those were dangerous for me to go looking for even when I was younger so I didn't go very far especially after I tripped and skinned myself pretty badly. They erase memories and even entire ones? Jeez." He sat down in a chair at the kitchen table. "So witches and wizards... are they just humans with magical abilities? Can any human learn and use magic or are they just lucky to be born with it? I've actually raised the dead once while using a book I found. Maybe I have some magic in me or was it the book doing that but relying on my voice for the spell?"

He shook his head, making a face. "I don't like getting hurt so I don't have a blood kink but I understand there are people that do. I wouldn't shame them for it, but it isn't my thing. I would think that if I'm with someone else and not a vampire, they wouldn't mistake me for that? Especially if I'm with you." He looked off before looking back to Torque with a raised eyebrow. "Were you? When you asked me to come with you to dinner? You didn't mention to bring Zim along there either."

Dib blinked, startled to learn Lycans aren't good at swimming. Wolves would swim though maybe not as well as other animals that relied on the water. "That's strange. I would think in your huge form, you'd be better at swimming than humans. More power." He smiled. "You went on vacation? Where? You can talk about it if you want. I've only been to Mexico to visit my grandparents once." He laughed a bit that they spooked each other and ran off. "Oh. I don't think most sasquatch species mean any harm. A few would but only if you enter their territory like yetis but those are in a different country and much more high up on the mountainous regions."

”Caverns are dangerous with or without goblins in them that’s not a wise place to go alone as many things could happen your life my all you did was trip and skin yourself. Yes in all truths they are humans who have magic powers they pass it down generation to generation. Some are super old but still look very young because of the magic they hold…yes you could learn but it would take forever to learn and someone willing to teach you…raise the dead? What type of book did that? I would think you might be safe going to one with me but I don’t know if it would be a good time or a night full of stress..” Torques eyes met Dib’s before they flicked down at the question like some how the answer was on the floor mentally scolding himself for his nervous reaction and getting his nerves back together before his eyes flicked back up to meet Dib’s ”…Yes I guess I was…and still am” He said pausing on answering anything else as this seemed more important right now and the other paranormal talk could wait.

"Yeah, I know. This was during a time before I had Zim with me and I was young, stupid and a lot more reckless with my life. I can't say I much cared for my own life more than I did others. If I happened to die, that was just shit luck for me but not much for anyone else. That's how I thought back then but as Zim was still a threat in my mind, I would give up from just getting skinned enough. I was the only person who knew he was an alien other than Gaz. No one would have stopped Zim if I wasn't around so the only thing really keeping me alive at that point was me defending Earth since no one else would or because no one else believed me to help."

He listened to Torque explain witches and wizards and he nodded, thinking about it. The magic he has used was the one he mentioned to Torque and spelldrives but spelldrives were the objects that used the magic instead of him. "That's really interesting. I'd like to look into learning... all I need to do is find someone willing to teach me? Would that be hard to do?" He nodded. "It was an ancient-looking tome. It was kind of hard to read but I still have it. It's at my apartment on the highest shelf of my bookshelf. I kind of keep it just for show more than trying to use it again. It might be dark magic like necromancy given how it had a spell in it to raise the dead... like zombies. Not bringing someone back to life and them being how they were in life."

Dib shrugged when Torque wasn't sure if it would be a good time or a stressful night. "Whether it's one or the other, I'm still interested in going. I know you'll have my back if things turn south. You would have to let me know what to bring to have your back in return." He fell quiet as Torque answered his other question then blushed even more when Torque admitted his asking him out was for a date. He hadn't expected that at all. Someone being into him... especially his crush of all people. He nodded and covered his face, feeling slightly embarrassed how hot he felt and he was sure it was super noticeable on  his somewhat pale features. "Okay, yeah. Um... I didn't think you would...but yes. I'd like to. Yeah," he sputtered out. "Dating. I mean."

Gaz glanced to the kitchen, having been half-listening to the conversation before she rolled her eyes. She saved her game and turned it off then went upstairs to go to her room to give Torque and Dib their own room and saving herself as well from anything else that could come out of this. She stopped at the top of the stairs. "You guys can use the TV if you want!" Before she headed into her bedroom to play games there.

Torque made a face at hearing how Dib felt back then and shook his head "Well i'm glad nothing terrible happened that would of taken your life...I guess thats one good thing about Zim coming here and causing trouble you might of died from something else or simply by not caring about yourself...Though I know your fights with him were nothing considered a simple spat the wounds i've seen on you back then were horrific. I went off on him one time you were in the hospital i knew he was at fault and I lost my cool he did not take being cornered by me very good and ended up ditching skool for a few days." He gave a slight shrug "Not sure if it would be hard or not you would just have to ask a person who uses magic if they are willing to teach you its up to them on if they agree to it or not." He listened to Dib explain the tome "That sounds interesting but yeah most likely dark magic best to keep that out of sight of anyone with ill will. Ancient magic is some of the most powerful there is...Why did you raise the dead?" He chuckled a bit as Dib said he wanted to have Torques back and nodded his head "Of course i'll have your back." He watched his face go bright as his scent changed to one he had slightly picked up a few times at skool. He covered his mouth a bit with a light laugh as Dib stumbled over his words. His attention was drawn towards the living room though as he heard Gaz move about before hearing her at the top of the stairs. "Your sisters not so bad...Want to watch a movie or something"?

"I am too," Dib said simply when it came to his life and not being taken. He nodded. His fights with Zim ranged from petty to life-threatening, depending on what Zim was planning on doing. His mind went to when Zim traveled through his body in a nano ship to try and destroy him from the inside. "He's told me about a time you went off on him when I was sick from school. Like I caught a fever and dad forced me to stay home."

Dib figured he could ask some witches or wizards he finds at the club when he goes with Torque. He hoped he could get a teacher. Magic was always interesting to him as well. When asked why he raised the dead, he gave a sheepish smile. "To see if it would happen or not. I was testing stuff out to see what was real or not. This was way before Zim came so I wasn't particularly thinking about what I would do if it DID happen. My dad had to help me get rid of them."

Dib uncovered his face when he heard Gaz and looked to the entryway between the kitchen and living room. "I never said she was bad... She cares in her own way about me." He stood up and cleared his throat. "Yeah, we could find something. Let me just check my phone to see if Zim sent anything." He took out his cell phone as he made his way to the living room, checking it for missing calls or text messages.
