Impa nods, " if things get too bad we'll make sure he does get proper medical attention, stubborn as a mule or not. But for now i think it best he does what he feels most comfortable with."

Zelda looks at Impa, "You seem to be giving him a wide berth. Was he.... Is he okay? You were the one who was physically in the room with him."

Impa stiffens slightly, " i... am not positive what happened, however if it is what i think it may have been, his pain will be more mental and emotional than physical."

Zelda frowns and looks down, her ears drooping, "I see....I suppose that would explain the uh.... outfit."

Soren fidgets in his bed slightly, testing out his wounds, 'I suppose Ike may want to stick around then. This place may need our help longer than what was originally agreed upon.'

Impa nods, " mind you im not certain. But it sounds like the low handed sort of thing they might do. what better way to take one out of the fight than to break their spirit?" she sighs.

Once fully dressed link lays back down and turns so he is on his side, closing his eyes and drifting in and out

Zelda nods and looks up at Impa, "Whatever they may have done, we'll make sure to support him. I don't plan on smothering him but I also want him to know that I am there for him if he so wishes. It's the least I can do for how much he has already given us throughout this war. We'd never been able to keep their forces away from hyrule castle if not for him..."

Impa nods, " of course. we're all there for him. but for now i think he may just need some time. i haven't heard him bang on the bed so he must want to just stay hidden behind the curtains for now."

Zelda brings her hands up to her chest and sighs, "Oh link....I admit Impa... With this being a complete one eighty to link's normal behavior I am at a loss. Normally he'd crack a pun right about now before inviting himself to the kitchen to bother the cooks." She looks down at her hands before clenching them in to tight fists, "When I find which one of them who did this to Link... I will. have. their. head."

Impa nods, " it's been a traumatic experience, we should leave the boys to recover." she shooes the princess from the infirmary. " believe me, i don;t intend to let this go without retribution either. but for now we should plan and try to find a weakness they may have."

Zelda makes a few meep sounds as she's shooed out of the room, "okay okay!"

Soren frowns as he watches them leave before looking over at Ike

Ike watches them go and then glances around, stopping when he sees Soren looking at him, " ...what?"

Soren bites his lower lip, "I know technically we did get their friend back but... I do not feel it right for us to leave once we're able to. I was wondering if at some point we could discuss staying a little longer?"

Ike nods, " Oh i totally agree. honestly if you're okay with staying im glad, because i hate having to leave when we showed such a poor performance." he looks over at Sothe.

Sothe sees his look, " oh whatever, fine we can stay."

Soren smiles and gives a relieved sigh, "Oh good."

~A few hours later~

Link gasps and sits up quickly as he wrenches himself from his nightmare, covering his mouth as he tries not to vomit.

Ike jolts from a doze, looking around, " hnnn?" seeing nothing he shrugs, laying back down, muttering about hearing things.
