Link sighs and holds Ike's headband back to him

Ike looks at it and grimaces, " um, i'll pass. how about we have it washed before you give it back? no offense, but that's gross."

[MissyLooni]

Link blinks and his face turns red before he tucks it away, "umm... before i forget. you looked confused when i gave you that potion. if you drink it your wounds will heal."

[Namari]

Ike blinks, " oh, well that's handy. why not give them to everyone then? we'd be able to join the fight right away."

[MissyLooni]

Link turns pale, his eyes looking at the ground, "...in order to make them we need very specific herbs that once grew in the northern part of hyrule field... but we... we lost that area. So it's been hard to just give out potions. We've been saving them in case someone is on the verge of death."

[Namari]

Ike blinks, " i suppose that makes sense. but why give one to me then? i'll be fine, save it for someone really in need." he digs it out and holds it out to Link.

[MissyLooni]

Link shakes his head, "You keep doing weird stuff to make sure i'm okay. I want you to hold on to it. Even if you don't use it now you can at least hold on to it in case you get reckless while in battle. It'll make me feel better if you hold on to it."

[Namari]

Ike sighs and pockets it, " alright. well maybe when we get back healed we can make it a priority to make an excursion to those areas and do some harvesting. if they're still there."

[MissyLooni]

Link rubs his arm and sighs, "We would have to see if Zelda will lift the wall of light that she put in place to keep the monsters from getting any closer. But... yeah... yeah it would be a good idea to have potions again."

(link is so nervous to go back out to the field just because of how horribly everything went down the first time. I imagine they lost the field shortly before the mission where they lost Link)

Ike blinks and nods, " we'll have to do it carefully, but something that useful, if nothing else it'd be good to have as backup."

[MissyLooni]

Link nods, "We certainly came to realize just how much we relied on them once they were gone. Sword through the stomach? Potion fixed you right up. They truly were amazing."

[Namari]

Ike grimaces, " well they certainly sound handy, though if they were readily available i can easily see that turning into carelessness. who cares if you get injured if you can just chug it away with a potion? maybe that's just me though."

[MissyLooni]

Link rubs the back of his head, "yeah i heard that same lecture from impa a few times."

[Namari]

Ike laughs, " well guess it's not just me then. we'll see what we can do, i know Soren would love to see how such a miracle brew is made and study it and it's components. If the ingredients are plant based perhaps we can bring samples home to try and cultivate."

[MissyLooni]

"And I'll talk to zelda about dropping her barrier. I know it takes a lot out of her to keep it up all the time so if we can get that area back it will help her a lot too." Besides his eyes being a bit red and puffy Link already looks a bit better. He glances out at the street and sighs, "I promise i wont tell anyone that you held me if you promise not to tell anyone that i cried, okay?" Link looks back at ike and gives a tired smile
