Sothe shrugs, " don;t mention it. seriously, you tell anyone and i'll deny it. I don;t do the touchy feely crap. and yeah, we often need a lot of things we don;t realize. Sometimes it takes an outside eye to see that. Ike means well, usually, he sees that stuff more than most. but again, he's also a stubborn dumbass, so yeah. good luck."

Link nods, " your group says that a lot.  The whole I'll deny it thing is something I'm hearing from you guys a lot. But,  again, thank you. I'll let you take your leave. "

Sothe snorts, " yeah, well we all have our appearances to upkeep. and Ike would tease me mercilessly if he knew i went soft for a minute there. of course i'd get him back, but still. good luck dealing with dumbass." he waves as he walks off.

Link smiles and waves at sothe before turning and heading to his room.

Sothe wanders towards the mess hall, stopping when he hears whispers. He creeps to the corner to listen to the recruits talking in the next hall, keeping himself out of sight but within hearing range.

Recruit1 laughs as he leans against the wall, "Yeah so even though Chris throws sand in Ike's face he still cant land a hit on the guy!"

Recruit2 snorts and crosses his arms, "What? You serious? How good is this Ike guy?"

Recruit3 sighs, "Pretty good from the sounds of it. Although Chris didn't like the fact he was still losing so he was about to throw a rock at the guy until the hero stepped in and threw Chris to the ground."

Recruit1 grunts softly, "Wouldn't want to be him right now. He tattled on Chris to impa and she kicked him out."

Recruit3 blinks, "Oh shit seriously? Chris never liked the kid."

Recruit2 hisses slightly, "Oh yeah now that you mentioned it I just came from the locker rooms and chris was grabbing his shit and I even heard him say how he was gonna teach the hero a lesson. I suppose that explains a lot."

Link continues walking down the hall, heading to the east wing to go to his room. He turns the corner and gives a sharp shriek when sand is suddenly chucked in to his face, blinding him.

Chris smirks and takes this time to grab Link's throat and slams him in to the wall, "Gotcha this time Zero-Hero!"

Link gasps and claws at Chris' hand as it squeezes painfully.

Sothe sighs as he overhears the conversation, ' crap, guess i have to go check on the kid now...' He turns and darts through the hallway in the direction he'd seen the other headed. He hears a shriek from up ahead and beelines for it, rounding the corner to see Chris with Link against the wall, hand squeezing the blonde's throat. " Bad move asswipe." he snarls and grabs Crhis's hair, yanking him back towards himself. A swift kick aimed at the arm grabbing Link separates the two and Sothe tosses Chris to the ground, quickly yanking his scarf off and using it to hogtie the youngster. " too bad for you im not the honorable Ike who fights fair."

Chris gives a sharp cry as he hits the ground and he starts struggling, "WHAT THE HELL!? GET OFF ME."

Link hits the floor and he gasps as his lungs painfully take in air. He panics and starts trying to wipe his eyes, 'The day I decide to be done with you, you better not have your eyes closed. Best way to kill someone and get away with it is in their sleep.'

Sothe looks over at Link, " Hey, calm down, you're gonna hurt your eyes rubbing them like that." He sits on top of Chris, no doubt painfully wrenching his limbs, " And why should i do that? you attacked someone without provocation, and im fairly certain being dismissed from the guard means you're not welcome in the castle anymore. Im sure Impa will find your presence and actions to be... interesting." he pulls a small bag of water from his belt, " Link, use this to clean out your eyes. Makes me glad i keep it on me."

Link pauses slightly when he hears chris and sothes voice and he begins to relax a tiny bit, "sothe?" He pushes himself on to his hands and knees and reaches out to take whatever sothe is tying to hand him.

Sothe nods, then realizes Link can;t see that yet, " yeah, it's me." he guides the waterbag to Links hand, " there's water in there, pour it into your eyes to flush them out. Don't worry, i've got this scumbag under control."

Link takes the water and sighs, "thank you......" He begins to carefully flush his eyes out, trying not to cause any further damage, 'I'm okay.... i'm okay....throat really hurts but its nothing im not used to...'
After he's done he blinks a few times and winces slightly, "ugh..."

Sothe gets annoyed as the male squirming under him won;t shut up or sit still, " okay, this guy is going to sleep for a bit." he pulls his dagger out and flips it in his hand, smacking Chris in the back of the head with the handle to knock him unconscious. " he gets up once the male is out and goes over to Link, " you alright?"

Link shudders and sighs, "yeah... yeah thank you.... I'll be fine..." he's pale and shaking as he tries to hand the water back to sothe.

Sothe raises an eyebrow as he takes it back, " remember that whole 'body language says bullshit' thing i said earlier? yeah, that would be now. Sit down, you're in a bit of shock it seems." He runs his hand through his hair, " guess i should go get Impa, she can decide what to do with the dickbag."
