Ike watches the other get up and inwardly smirks when Link sits next to him instead of Iida, " ah, one other thing. Me and the guys still don;t have much in the way of spare clothing, think we can swing into the market tomorrow? i know Soren and Sothes sizes and tastes well enough to at least get things they'll find acceptable. We can probably get Sothe to come along, not sure if we'll be able to drag Soren away from the potion studies." he chuckles softly. " i just don;t know my way around very well, so it'd be great if you'd show me the best places Link."

Link smiles and takes Ike's hand, "the early market may have some interesting clothing, however we do have some regular stores in castle town that will probably be more suitable for what you're looking for. And we wouldnt have to get up so early to get anything good."

Ike nods, " that sounds like the way to go then. we'll plan that for tomorrow." he finishes off his tray and sighs happily, " ah good food. i should probably go check on Soren, if i know him he's way too into the potion making process and he'll forget to sleep if we don't drag him away from it." he stands up and grabs his tray with one hand.

Iida nods, "good idea. It'll give link and i a chance to finally hang out."

Link pales slightly and bites his lower lip.

Soren is still down with the other nurses, learning everything he can about the potions, his nap from earlier doing nothing for the fatigue he has from binge reading half the library.

Ike sees the look on Links face, " actually, this castle is huge and im still not the most familiar with it. Im not sure i can find my way back to the potion making area, think you can lead me there Link?"

Link jumps to his feet and nods quickly.

Iida is about to protest when link takes his hand and gives a haste apology with a promise of hanging out later.
He huffs and crosses his arms, "whatever."

Link grabs ike and starts dragging him out of the mess hall

Ike grins and lets himself be dragged out, " he's been rather obnoxiously clingy to you lately it seems." He slows once out of the mess hall, heading towards the potion making area that he actually did remember the location of.

Link huffs, no longer dragging ike, "he was a real ass before, then pretended we were friends once it was known that i was the hero. He acted real nice to everyone after and constantly praised whatever i did but lately he's been being a creep. I dont really wanna be near him for a bit so I'm sorry if i end up using you to keep away from him."

Ike frowns, " don't apologize, it doesn't bother me. i may not know the castle well but i only asked you along with because i saw the look on your face at the prospect of me leaving you there with him."

Link shudders, "Yeah, i'm pretty uncomfortable around him so I was kinda...not sure how i was gonna survive another few hours with him alone."

Ike chuckles, " we'll have to try and figure out how to let him know you're not interested then. that way we don;t have to deal with it anymore." he heads down the stairs, seeing Soren and waving, " hey you, it's getting late. come on out of there and get some food and get ready for bed."

Soren blinks and looks up at Ike, "But-.... b[ut im not done yet."

Link chuckles and shakes his head

Ike chuckles, " you can play with the potions tomorrow. if i have to drag you to get food, and make you sleep in Links room with me to make sure you sleep, i will do so. heck, we could invite Sothe and give Link the sleepover he always wanted."

Soren slowly raises an eyebrow and glances at Link, "A... sleepover?"

Link turns bright red and he gently shoves at Ike, the mention of the sleepover making him completely embarrassed.

Ike laughs softly, grabbing Link by the shoulders with one arm and pulling him close, " yeah. oh right, you never really had that sort of thing either huh? well as kids usually you invite some friends over and all sleep in the same room. normally it doesn't involve much sleeping, but this time we'll actually have to get our asses to bed. Link has never had one and is really excited to do it."
