Ike puts his practice swords away and grunts, " ah man, alright, time to go wash up. you coming?" he glances at Link, raising an eyebrow at the others grin, " you look way too happy about all this."

Link chuckles and takes the lead to the showers, humming softly as his mood only gets better.

[Namari]

Ike shakes his head and follows, stripping down unabashedly and washing up, rinsing the sweat off himself and his clothes before tossing the clothing in a hamper. He then goes to the large tub and climbs in, sinking up to his neck in the water happily.

Link takes his time showering, still humming as he washes any tangles from his hair. Once he's done with both himself and his clothes he joins ike in the hot bath, sighing softly.

Ike waits until Link is settled before clearing his throat, " so...this morning. what got you so spooked? and don;t try to lie, i know something had to have happened after i left."

Links eyes widen before he slowly closes them and pinches the bridge of his nose, "i... really dont want to talk about this..."

Ike crosses his arms, " i don;t care, if it's affecting you enough that you went from happy to acting more jumpy then a mouse in a snake den, then you need to tell me about it."

Link takes a deep breath, opening his eyes and looking at ike, "if i tell you can you please not make it a big deal?"

Ike raises an eyebrow, " i'll decide that. now come on, you know im only trying to help."

[MissyLooni]

"I know. I know you're trying to help and you've been the most helpful person ive met. Except tergo of course. Not sorry on that by the way." Link looks at the water and chews his lip, "its not... its not a big deal.  Iida just confronted me this morning with.... concerns about how I'm using my time. With... with you. "

Ike chuckles, " no offense taken. He's a worthy man to lose the top spot to." He listens and frowns, " well, that explains his comment to me earlier. It's none of his business what you do with me though, or how much time you spend with me. He has no claim over you. not that i do either, but im looking out for you, he seems to only be thinking of himself." he looks down, " i have no right to say this, but i'd really feel better if you kept away from him. he gives me a bad feeling... i won't try and force you however, i respect your decisions. Doesn't mean i won't have a talk with him later, i planned on it anyway."

Link blinks and looks at ike, "he... he said something to you? When?"

Ike snorts, " after i schooled his ass. He said, and i quote, ' you're not worth the heros attention.' i may have said he wasn't worth my time after that, but whatever. I don;t give a shit what he thinks, maybe im not worth the heros time, but Link certainly thinks im worth being around. and that's who matters to me." he grins.

Link smiles at ike and blushes before quickly looking back down, "Good. I'm glad we're on the same page then. And, yeah, i never... i usually tried not to be around iida. He always seemed really arrogant and never talked to me until the whole... hero thing happened. Then suddenly he acted like we were friends. He only recently started acting aggressive... not that it matters. I'll try to stay near someone else though so he cant catch me alone. "

Ike frowns again, " i'll see if i can get him to back off. he doesn;t sound like someone who wants to be around you because he genuinely wants to be your friend, sounds more like a 'perks of the heros friend' sort of thing."
