Link blinks and tilts his head, ".... so... you've never done it for fun?"

Ike shakes his head, " not really. i kind of grew up on the battlefield, my mother died when i was pretty young, and my father lead the mercenary band before me so he just took me with."

Link frowns and looks down, "im sorry..."

[Namari]

Ike shakes his head, " Don't be, you did nothing wrong." good thing he hadn't elaborated on what had happened, it would have only made Link feel even worse. " i had things pretty easy compared to Soren and Sothe, i was fortunate. but adversity is what makes us strong, so while obviously i would have preferred things be otherwise, i've come to terms with the cards fate dealt me. anyway, since im going to host a sleepover for you, maybe you can arrange a fun cookout for me?"

Link nods and looks at ike, "id like that." Link doesnt say anything else. He just goes back to looking at the horizon, not wanting say anything. Just wanting to enjoy the small moments.

" sounds like we have a deal then." Ike chuckles softly, leaning back against the wall and sighing before closing his eyes, " few more minutes then i'll go find the guys."

Link hums softly and lays down, a soft, cool breeze constantly cooling the air

After a bit of relaxing Ike gets up, " if you want to stay here while im gone i doubt Iida will find you. I shouldn;t be long."

Link looks at ike and nods, "no worries. I'll be up here for a while."

Ike nods and heads down, going to Sorens room and knocking, " heyo, you there?"

Sothe hears Ike and peeks from his room.

Ike sees Sothe, " oi, you too. i need to talk with both of you."

Soren blinks curiously and opens his door, looking at ike, "whats up?"

Sothe comes out of his room to hear better.

Ike smiles, " nothing bad. just need to let you guys know the mission is set for tomorrow first thing, so make sure you get your sleep."

Soren nods, "got it. Thank you for telling me."

[Namari]

Sothe waves offhandedly, " i'll be ready." he heads back into his room.

Ike smiles, " thanks. well, until then." he heads back to Links spot up on the roof.
